Hey Mom, Do I get to be the line leader again? A PTR…(My TR has started! - 6/1)

What an awesome experience Megan! Stories like that are what makes Disney so special. I actually had tears in my eyes reading it. I bet it was so great to see Sam's excitement!! :goodvibes

I knew ther had to be a reason for it being the best trip ever. I was also teary reading that update. That is a day you will all remmeber for a long time to come. Sam was so proud!

It was awesome! After our day at BB and this experience at AK, Bryan did dub this as our best trip to date. I did have my little teary moment while riding the safari alone with the guys in my life after being picked like we were. He was so excited!

I kept telling you there was a reason. Sam definitely remembers it. Just like my PTR title says Sam asks me every once in a while if Pam and Noah will let him be the line leader again. The downside to the experience is that he now expects to be the leader from now on even though I tell him that was something he was picked to do.

Wow, awesome! The safari is one of my favorite rides and what a great way to start the day. :thumbsup2

Kid swap - Cooper is too short to ride a few rides, so we go to a CM at the ride of choice. Some places require to present the child that is too small, some places don't. The CM gives us a rider swap ticket. Every time we did it, the CM directed us to the FP line to use our Rider Swap. Where the CM takes your FP, you hand them the rider swap ticket as well. You ride with up to three other people. When you get off, the other parent rides using their rider swap ticket with up to three other people. I have seen other people here on the DIS explain it as they were going through the normal line, but the CM at TT, Soarin, and BTMRR all directed us in the manner I described above. I hope that helps!

Thanks!! That helps a lot. I had never heard of the 3 people limit.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! DISNEY MAGIC!!!!

I just love your last post and I am all Disney Teary-Eyed! :sad1::rolleyes: Happens all the time.

So cute that Sam got to carry the rope & be the line leader

I have never seen the opening ceremony for AK, we will have to catch that this year. :thumbsup2

And you were the 1st family on the Safari, too much :wizard:

can't wait to hear what else happened :yay:

Awwwwww what an awesome start to your last day. I would have been too excited.

It was so exciting! The boys immediately forgot about all their sadnees from earlier. When I got excited, Bryan totally did not understand why. I don't think he completely understood what was going on.

No problem! I know there is a limit to the amount of people you can bring with you using a rider swap. For some reason I am remembering 3 because I remembering thinking that I could bring one more person with me on KRR.

Truse Disney Magiic! That one moment took eerything we were feeling that morning and pushed it aside.

The funny thing about him being the line leader is that throughout the week he would always ask if he could lead us to the next attraction. He was our line leader all week, so he got super-excited when he was asked to be (as he said) the biggest line leader ever.

They have changed the opening at AK. We no longer are let into wonder over to the Tree of Life. They let you through the turnstile to a rope right there in the Oasis.

Our second attraction was just as awesome!

Wow Megan, that is awesome! Sounds like a perfect start to a last day! If we had any type of great experiences like that I bet AK would pop onto our radar. I know that we will go again this year and we are only planning on a 1/2 day there so we will see! Our opinions are based off of 1 trip so maybe it will change! I cant wait to hear more!!!!!

Isn't it hard to believe that the school year is almost over?!?!?!?! Up here we have 8 weeks left! In my head I have all of these "milestones" to pass before our trip so this is soon to be another one off of my list!!!!!!

It was a perfect start to the day! Ak was by far our favorite even before this day. What made it more special was that it happened in our favorite park.

We have 7 weeks left till school ends down here. I can't wait till it gets here. We leave for the trip on our last day, so I'm getting kind of antsy.

WOW! Megan what a magical way to end the visit! how exciting...I love how Sam is struting to the safari...great video! thanks for sharing!!!

So, I went talk to the Easter Bunny last night. The boys have PLENTY of candy...There's no denying that. The boys each got 2 movies and a cd. Cooper got the re-released Toy Story 1 & 2 DVDs and the Alven & the CHipmunks Squeakqual cd. Sam got Planet 51 and the Squeakquel dvds and the Phineas & Ferb cd. They are always asking to sing songs from P&F i n the truck, so I figured we could have some help remembering the words.

We are having another crawfish boil at Bryan's sister's house tomorrow. The boys are all excited about that. As far as our plans for Easater go, we don't know yet. I need to talk to my mom to see what her plans are. We normally go to dinner at a restaurant so that no one has to cook.

Plus, I need to get to work on that countdown chain for the boys. They asked if we could start it at 45 days left. Well, that's just around the corner now.

Have a great day everyone! I need to go read more of Dana's PTR.

The first ride of the Safari? That sounds great, and even better to get your own truck for just your family. :thumbsup2
