I have really enjoyed catching up on your Trip from last year and reading about your plans for your up coming trip in May.

We were at WDW around the same time last year we were there from 5/31 to 6/11/2009. We had a magical time as well. I had planned to do a TR but alas, that did not happen

I am really enjoying the catch up from your previous trip.

I also love the pic of your sis - spitting! Hilarious!

We will be at Disney this year on 5/28 but are arriving late afternoon and staying on an AP rate at CS for the night and moving on to Vero Beach for 5/29 & 5/30 and then back to Kidani until June 10th. So we are headed for another long relaxing Holiday!

Looking forward to more and to read the TR!

Thanks! I have enjoyed sharing it with all of you as well. I had planned to do a TR when we returned last year. I just never got around to doing it. I'm glad to hear you had a magical trip as well.

Fun TR update! Megan & Randy...
I love Cosmic Rays, too! but my fav is the chicken...I love how I can get the chicken and danny a burger and the kids chicken nuggets...seems they use to have corn dog nuggets too! it was one of the few CS places that "everyone" was happy.

Great update Megan! I measured Josie again yesterday and with the flip flops we should be more than good to go. She really wants to ride Splash. Luckily neither of mine sucked their thumb but we did have to break Josie of her pacy. It's a lot easier with a pacy though, it's not attached. Anyway, this is going to be a long month and three weeks. We have so much to look forward to this trip.

I love QS places like Cosmic Ray's and SUnshine Seasons. There are so many things to choose from that it is so easy to find something for everyone!

Way to go Josie! Keeping my fingers crossed still for Cooper. Bryan and Stacey have told me in the last week that it looks like he has sprouted a little bit, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Sam used a pacy as well. He started chewing them and not sucking them when he was 6 months old, so I cut the tips off. He put it back in his mouoth that one time and never went back. He cried for a short period of time and then he was fine without it. I wish Cooper would have taken the pacy. It would have made things so much easier.

I agree it is absolutely sweet. However, we've been trying to get the sucking to stop, and it hasn't worked yet.

Come on, the more the merrier! It's funny because they always have trouble finding a souvie by the time we get to the last park day. My kids are so deprived.

Yes...I just noticed a couple of weekends ago that CHase was taller than I am. So sad being the short one.

That feeling of we'll be back is just awesome. Believe me, this trip will feel differently than those of the past.

So, I recall a few months ago Mary questioning about this being the best trip ever. This day truly was the most magical day we have ever had in WDW. Bryan had debated actually coming to AK on this day since it was the designated park of the day for Gay Days. I kept telling him it was nothing to worry about and that we barely even notice other people in the park. If one of the boys asked any questions, we would just answer them. It ended up being a complete non-issue.

We woke up the next morning sad because we knew it was our last day. As we were eating breakfast, Sam asked where we were eating dinner that night. When I answered Chef Mickey’s, he knew we were heading back home the next day. It’s our traditional last supper in WDW. So everyone is kind of in a funk as we head to the bus stop. We all agreed to have as much fun as we possibly could that morning since it would be a year till we were back. While we waited for the bus, the boys played a little bit. They had started walking along the ledge throughout the week to make the time pass, and this morning was no different.

We had a minimal wait, made a quick stop at Jambo, and were at AK shortly. I knew it would be a great day because there were maybe 3 other families on the bus with us.

We take the regular pictures we all take when we get to AK. Bryan took the boys ahead while I did the bag check, and we joined in a line at the turnstile. After standing for about 5 minutes, I noticed a woman going to one of the turnstiles farther to the left. She took the cover off, and we switched lines. We went from being the 5th family in the line to being the first.

The CM did the ceremony with the family of the day. We swiped our tickets and were on our way to the Tree of Life for the Let the Adventure Begin opening ceremony.

Next, what’s first? Safari or Everest…
