Just wanted to let you know that I'm reading! I was drawn to your PTR because of your username. Though I love all PTRs and TRs, I especially love any that are written by teachers! I think there are some things that only teachers understand about other teachers

A new camera would be a great present to each other. It's not the same but I can speak to the manufacturer...I have a Canon Rebel XTi, got it in May 2007 as a mother's day present for DH . It is an awesome camera. It works beautifully after 2.5 years. I have no desire to get a new one. I have a Canon 35mm bought in 2002 that still takes fantastic shots also. Canon makes good cameras-I don't think you can wrong if you get the Canon you've been investigating. Have fun tomorrow at Elmo Live!

Thanks for your opinions on Canon cameras. Bryan keeps reminding me that we are not trying to replace our camera. We just want to add an additional camera so that we are able to take pictures where we oncer were not able to.

We had looked at that one to tell you the truth. The problem Bryan had in the reviews was the constant description of the lag in taking a picture. The updated version of your camera is at Best Buy. We need to go try it out to see what we think.

So, Cooper and I had a great time today at Elmo Live. He is not the biggest Sesame Street fan. He grew up watching the things his brother wanted to watch, so although he watches it every once in a while, he isn't all gung-ho about it. Both Cooper and Wyatt traveled great.

The only downside of the trip was this woman that sat in front of us. She kept moving seats in front of us, so we would get one of the boys with an unobstructed view and then she would move in front of him again. Well, her purse fell on top of all of my stuff towards the end of the show, causing all of the trash in her purse to scatter. Well, she doesn't notice until she sees me putting her purse on the chair as I try to get her attention. Well, she comes sit in one of our seats to put all of her garbage back in her purse. She then looks at me rather sweetly and says "If you happen to find a thousand dollar bill, be sure to give it back to me please." I told her okay and that I would be sure to do so. Well, she then looks back at me and says that she does not believe me. ***? What made her think that I was lying to her?

Anyway, other than her, it was a great day!

She said that I may say that I would return any money that does not belong to me, but I wouldn't do it when it comes down to it in the end. She also told her daughter or DIL with who she was sitting that she thinks I was trying to steal her money. She was just speaking very ugly to me about the whole thing.

Back to the planning for a bit tonight...

I do plan to go through every day of the trip to give you an idea of what we are looking forward to.

Our first park day, as I said earlier, is tentatively scheduled to be Epcot. Flower & Garden Festival will sadly be over. Plus, there is the large possibility that we will not be there exactly at rope drop - maybe an hour later.

The use of Fastpass or baby swap will be based on Cooper's height. If he meets the 40" mark, Fastpass it will be.

Our must-do attractions at Epcot:
1. Soarin
2. Test Track
3. The Sea & Turtle Talk
4. Spaceship Earth
5. Figment
6. The boys found Innoventions this past summer and loved it.
7. Sam wants to try at least one Kim Possible mission.
8. We will save some WS exploration on our Illuminations night.
9. Madeline is wanting to do Mission: Space again as well.

Plus, we always like to visit ourselves from our honeymoon in 2000.

Included in here somewhere, we also have 2 boys that want to go swimming and more than likely a dinner ADR.

Love all your choices...we've never done Figment or Kim Possible. Both are on our lists to try this trip. With all the rain we experienced this last trip we finally got to check out Innoventions. I was pleasantly surprised. I've heard lots of negative stuff but I think it's a great place for the family to unwind and cool off -learning something new is a bonus.

We have a Leave A Legacy etching also. It's just a little message to my Mom and Dad. We like to check ours out too.

Kim Possible is a MUST DO!!! Z & Chase LOVED it!!! We have done several "missions" now and the boys - especially Z really get into it! They are great, because of the interaction, and the kids get to learn a bit about the culture of other people. Highly recommend it.. Sammy will totally dig it!!!

So, I stayed home today with Cooper. We both have a sinus infection.

I must say, though. I am certainly happy that we changed the date of our vacation. If we would have kept the February dates, I would have had to partake in all the craziness today trying to get my ADRs. That is absolutely crazy! The system crashed before it even opened for the day! I am expecting my early moring on November 23rd to be a lot less stressful than this morning.

I know the boys loved it. Sam asked about it last summer, but we never got around to it. The use of the cell phone was initial interest for him.

As far as our photo at Epcot, we figured what better way to commemorate our newlywed status at that time.
