Oh my what a decision!
Afternoon tea at Palo vs Margaritas what to do ...what to do... life is just full of difficult decisions let me ponder this...............
Deb didn't mention a BBQ today maybe it's not happening :confused3
I'll post and ask I wonder how long it will take to get some navigators posted, It's their last evening I hope our week doesn't go as fast, maybe getting merry on the last afternoon is a way of numbing the pain of the cruise ending! :rotfl:

"Getting merry!" ~ I love that Lynn! Definitely an English term! It's more elegant than the midwest......"schnockered", "lit up", "belted", etc!!! I plan on "getting merry" quite a bit!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Just kidding! I am a responsible adult (most of the time)!

My limosine delima is getting the best of me. I think I will wait the weekend out and try again Monday. I am so frustrated! I really though I had the problem solved! :badpc: :badpc:

DH and I are heading out tomorrow for a night away! :love2:

it's all just to much to respond to..... :confused3

that's why one has a "bright" ,clever daughter.. :love2:

I won't bore you with the fish thing :guilty: The thong thing will be basic'ly a piece of rope, and some imagination :rotfl: do you notice how the daughter keeps baiting me ...!! :Pinkbounc by the way have I ever discussed how beautiful the G'daughters are ... ??

I'm probably safer discussing the margarita's ,.... oh Boy.... :teeth:

Hello there Bill
I'd love to see these fish pictures, a guy we met on our last cruise took me and hubby fishing in Maryland last summer and we loved it. Jim posts on the DIS and before the last cruise told us he'd have a fish picture with him at the terminal so we'd recognise him.
I wandered all over the terminal and came back to the line and said fairly sacastically to hubby well I can't see a guy with a fish, at which point hubby and a strange fellow behind us in the line started to laugh... it turns out Keith had noticed that the guy behind us had a fish picture and introduced himself . The guys had spent 20 mins getting to know each other whilst I'd been running round the terminal!
What's that about patience........ :rotfl:

did you see the article today about Children's Tylenol
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8085957/

was just thinking of the families with small children - I know
I used Children's Tylenol when my kids were young.

(sorry - this has nothing to do with our cruise - but I'm always
concerned for small children). :lovestruc  :wave2:

Thanks Lucy-we actually use those. It's the only thing little Drew will take. We have the single blister pack and to me, I understand the dosing. Hopefully it won't take them long to get them back on the shelves.

Thanks!

Lisa

Jenny-I'm with you, let's get merry!!!!

Bill-post your fish pics! I used to fish when I was little...caught and gutted them myself!!!! Don't ask me today, wouldn't have the stomach for it!

Later on tonight, my middle DD(18) tried to hang out with her BF without permission so..............dear old dad and mom have her staying with them tonight!! This is just 2 days from her grad party.......aren't the kids fun?? :sad2:

So, we end up with the "Traci."... Always a pleasure....

She is up and off to work already :flower:

can't figure how to add picture, who knows how to do it?? :teeth:

JoAnn - they are so much fun :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:
(since we didn't have such cool parents as you do, Bill and Alice, we've
never told our family half the stuff we had to put up with....and
it isn't pretty) - I though a colic child was bad.....i'll take one back,
believe me. It is just unbelieveable the things Bryan comes up with in
reply to our questions/concerns....all I've learned is that Bob and I
are totally the stupid and dumb ones...I've been told so often that
I am starting to believe him :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :
OH, MY - I can't believe that 7 day cruise is over already - the only other cruise that will go that quickly is our cruise. I love all the information LegalBriefs shared on excursions - i know we will need to check out CaboWabo.
Oh, i forgot to tell you - before the wine/margarita tasting, there was a beer tasting also, same day - Disney truly DOES want you to feel good about your bill the last day, don't they? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'll check in later today - it is another rainy day in PA.

Well thank you for the compliment... IWilliam... be rest assured if it wasn't for Alice, the kid's would have turned out totally differant.... :teeth:
I would have ended up in jail ... pirate: ,and the kids would have required extensive dental work....!! :rolleyes1 If anything ,we tried to "plow" through it all as a united front...!!,backing each other as required :cool1: sometimes it worked.... there is light at the end of the tunnel....

enough said..... about these pictures....?? :confused3

Deb Wills site is GREAT, but I'm getting a little concerned....
the customs things on the ship sounds like a disaster compared to
Florida's customs......sounds like a hassle to me - glad we have an
afternoon flight.

AND, the weather, Lisa - is it really that cool on the ocean when you
are close to LA?

Forgot to tell 'ya - we received our Disneyland tickets in the mail yesterday - quite exciting - ordered thru information on Mousesavers...with these
tickets we get a discount at the shops, plus the kids will probably go
to ESPN Zone, each tickets comes with a $10 gamecard.......
IF we decide to meet at DD at the pizza place you spoke about, JoAnn -
the kids will be able to go over the ESPN. Now I've got to book our LA
tour and transportation to and from LAX and pier and we are ready.
Oh, by the way, next week, Saturday, we leave for WDW - driving, of
course. 5 days in the parks. Betcha you will all miss ME during that
time on this thread :rolleyes1

Lucy-It is true, the closer you get to the water the cooler it is. However, this week in particulare we had two or three unusually cold days. I highly doubt in August we'll have this problem. August in *general* is Cals warmest month. So, I wouldn't worry, but I would bring a sweater or a light jacket. Also, anytime there's wind combined with water it can feel cooler but if you were to take the wind out of the equation you'd feel warm. Make sense?

Bill-I'm not sure how to post pics. I tried and couldn't figure it out for the life of me. Guess we'll have to save it for the cruise?

The rental company is 1.56 miles from our hotel according to Map Quest and has the best deals. I just need to make sure they are open on Saturdays.

I am not sure which hotel you are staying at, but the Best Western Park Place Inn (which is directly across from the Disneyland Harbor entrance, right at the cross walk) has a major rental agency in it - I just can not remember which one.

You can call the hotel directly; here is the web page with more information:
http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwes...ilStatus=Open&propertyCode=05470&pageNumber=0

By the way, for those of you who do not have a hotel yet for Disneyland, I highly recommend this hotel. We either stay there or the Paradise Pier - and I only live 40 minutes from Disneyland!

I invited Jim onto our thread to tell us how to post a picture .Please admire his fish if he comes otherwise he pouts.........I bet Bill's is bigger!!!!!

Ok, ok, here's the situation..........if you want to see Bill with his FISH send me your email and I will send it to you. I can't put it into this thread...........if anyone knows how please let me know!

You gotta see this fish, it's enormous!!

Wow... these pictures are causing quite a stir... :goodvibes
Welcome Jim ..thanks Lynn... It really isn't that big a fish when one talks about Stripers....!! the allowable "keeper" runs 24 to 28,and from 28 to 34 are returned ...34 on up are "keeper's"...At least that's the reg's at this time in NJ.... mine was in the 24 to 28 range ...9 lbs... :cheer2:
Now that I put you all to sleep..... snooze... :teeth: who wanted these pictures anyhow.........................................?? why, my darling Daughter :love2:

Have a safe trip Iwilliam, watch them Georgia State police boys... :p hey love those Northern plates :moped:

Lisa ...thankyou for trying, I couldn't figure it either..and yet people are posting Pictures... :confused3

Is anyone else as worried about the jellyfish as I am? I've read that in PV they've been very bad. Has anyone ever tried 'Safe Sea'? It is supposed to prevent jellyfish stings. I just ordered 3 bottles...I hope it works.

Kathy-where did you order this? I hear the jellies appear due to the tides/full moon. I think I figured out we'll be in the Maz and PV (where the jellies were seen) about 10 days (or more, can't remember) after the full moon, so we should be OK, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
