Actually, it's TrayC's BD today, Deb, so you're not late!!

Tomorrow, we are heading south to see Tara and watch Ken run his first marathon.........don't laugh...........I've signed up for the Half-Marathon........as long as I can walk it, I'm in!!! Wish me luck too and I hope the "ladies" join me, too!!!! Also, hopefully, Jen got off w/o too much trouble tonight!!...............I'll watch Grey's now.............(I had to tape it tonight!)

Hope all are well, I've got my new laptop (wireless) so I can't wait to go to a Starbucks and log on (hello, Ali!!:rotfl2: )...I know, you think I'm nuts AND YOU'RE RIGHT!!! :cutie: :rotfl: :goodvibes :lmao:

We had a two hour delay today and I want all to know that TODAY WAS MORE STRESSFUL THAN USUAL!!!! Crazy............???? That's why we all look forward to summer so much!!!

OK, for those who watch Greys, IS MEREDITH REALLY DEAD???? Micco says she's not, but she sure looks dead to me.............I can't stand it.....But I love Izzy, wasn't she great last night????

Good luck to Ken.

Jenny Can't wait to hear all about EJ's show....

Debi

Lucy I was just reading online about the people stuck on 78 in Allentown, what a nightmare - I think I would shoot myself - that would just freak me right out.
Debi

I thought Lynn was somewhere "exotic"!! Hope you had a great time! I'd love to hear about it! I have always dreamed myself of going to Italy and Sicily. My great grandfather immigrated from Sicily, so I find it fascinating!

What Jenny, Rome isn't "exotic" enough for you ??????

Ok, we made it to FL and it's 55 degrees!! We'll see Tara her roomie, and the rents tomorrow!!!:hippie:

No, I don't think Meredith is dead, I think she's either dreaming or she dies temporarily and comes back to life!

DEBS & LYNN: looks like we are 'stuck' in our homes this weekend while everyone else is all over the country....well, that statement didn't make sense, did it, Lynn?:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
EXCEPT for the fact, too, that Lynn just returned from Rome:love:
DEBS is stuck with NO heat in her store:sad1:
AND WE are stuck in our house because the traffic in this area is impossible since our snowstorm this past week, and all the major highways being closed for the last 3-1/2 days, and all traffic is directed around our town...it has been the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen:scared1: :scared1:
At present I'm hearing 'news' helicopters flying above our home...hope the highways open up real soon.:woohoo:

OH, Debs, for the first time since I'm watching, I couldn't watch Gray's Anatomy last night - last week's episode upset me so much, i was actually scared to watch it (now, THAT is great acting, isn't it?)....Bob watched it and told me about it:sad:  I'm NOT going to say anymore because Jenny and JoAnn must watch it when they get back.:sad2:

Tyler had friends sleep over last night,,,,,it is NOW 9:35 AM and they haven't slept all night...and THIS is fun?:confused3

More later.:grouphug:

just checked my calendar
what time on the 24th? at KOP......let us know:cheer2:
Bolusi's, I would love to see you there too!:yay:

I heard it was FREEZING in Florida today...so sorry, but it will help your run too...good luck. (so glad, once again i didn't go along, last night i twisted my bad knee last night....this getting old is H-CK!.....and i couldn't walk, but i'm better....no healed yet, but i can at least walk):sad1:

Oh, BTW, I got Bob tickets for Mamma Mia for April 7, just the two of us, and we are just going up for the day....can't wait (this is also the week we get back from Florida).:woohoo:

so......what's happening.....?? Here we are insunny florida.... with THE family.... :cool1: it's somewhat cool out side...not Fl weather....:confused3 in the mid 60's...at least thesun is out :rolleyes1
It seems you folks have been having a time of it...:cheer2:
I've got to run.....who loves ya....!! Albill sends.....

That was my dad............we are at Tara's apartment right now........we're going to torture her this afternoon.......the weather stinks.....but it's not freezing.......Ken's running tomorrow.......I actually signed up for the HM tomorrow, I'm walking I hope I make it in four hours, Ken's trying to come in first......:lmao:

I hope everyone at home is thawing out.......we'll be back before you know it!!

is WAY too quiet - I don't like it.....life is really boring around here right now, and now everyone seems to be away and not chatting so I'm totally bored.

Tyler MUST go to school tomorrow, President's Day, snow make-up day.
Bryan starts his classes tomorrow too. I'm just so happy the university is closed tomorrow, and I don't even care that I must go to work - it is so much fun when noone but staff is there....

Housework today, shopping today, Bob at work...just your typical Sunday for me.:cool1:

Me again.........OK, I survived but barely!! I "ran," really walked the HM today, I now can't walk at all, I have a blister in a place that the "sun don't shine!" and I'm thinking that dieting would probably be a lot EASIER!! Ken also ran his first marathon today (it is a HUGE deal for him!!) If you can, congratulate him by email (klawall@aol.com), this has been a really tough year for him (as you all know) and he's been trying to do this since he & I were dating so I'm really happy for him, REALLY!):yay: :dance3: I can't guarantee that I will EVER do this again,:dance3: but, at least, I did it once!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope I have "excused" absence from the boards..............I LOVE YOU ALL, and I hope you understand that I am an idiot but certainly, A LOT OF FUN!!:dance3:

Well Done Joanne and Ken
Lucy Sorry to hear about the weather
We've been on the Isle of Wight this weekend visiting family , my sick uncle and my cousin's daughter's 2 week old baby ahhhhh

Hey Lynn, best wishes to your uncle and new baby!! I "PM"ed you recently about the dinner ressies........there's a lady on the other thread who wants to eat with us at 8pm. Check your PM and get back to me when you can.....BTW.........where is the Isle of Wight?

Hope Jenny is having fun in LV............how's everyone else doing this weekend??:laundy:

you weary travellers:woohoo:

I want to hear ALL the stories, please. I've been stuck here with this cold, cold weather, which I totally hate, and the Fishers have been in LV, and Lawells are in Florida, and goodness knows where Bill and Alice are going to end up!:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

What Jenny, Rome isn't "exotic" enough for you ??????

Major typing blunder! YES IT IS VERY EXOTIC!!!! That's what I meant! Sorry, I hope I didn't offend anyone......I was emphasizing that fact that I mentioned she was somewhere exotic and, of course WAS!!!!!

I have to go to get Mark at work, but I'll check in later!! Not much to tell, because you know "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"!!!!:lmao: :lmao:

I by no means meant that Rome was not exotic. I meant that in a previous post I referred to Lynn and Keith being somewhere "exotic" and was right! Please accept my apologies!

Vegas was a great time! I don't like to gamble so I planned to rent a car and drive to Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam while Mark played Blackjack, however when I arrived at the Indy Airport I was greeted at security with "Do you know your driver's license expired on Jan. 22nd????":scared1: So, I planned on taking a helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon instead. However with the NBA All-Star Game there as well, there wasn't a tour to be had! So, I walked and shopped by day(and bought not one thing!!). It was so beautiful out each day at around 70-74 degrees that I enjoyed the fresh air! Mark played came out even in his gambling venture, so that was good too!! My body got a little confused with the time change, but I am rebounding well.

Elton John was a great show. His video backgrounds were unique and he played the songs I had hoped to hear. The Red Piano was really cool too! Debi-- he mentioned a guy's birthday that day in the audience who was 60 and was talking about his birthday own 60th birthday coming soon. I got to thinking about you guys going to that concert! He was so funny talking about sharing the auditorium with Celine Dion and how he has fought his weight since he came from his mother's womb and she looks like a Q-tip!!!:lmao: He was hilarious!

Barry Manilow was awesome too! He and EJ are such different types of performers, so it was fun to have the mix. He sang many of his popular tunes that I loved. The best was when he sang "Mandy" simultaneously with the video of his debut on TV in the background from the 70s.

We loved our hotel, the Monte Carlo. We ate next door at the ESPN Zone (at NY NY Resort) and saw Bill Walton (UCLA basketball player and TV analyst) there eating his lunch. We also saw Pete Rose at Caesar's doing one of his appearances. I spent the morning Friday getting a massage and pedicure which was great too!! :cool2:

We got to bed about 2 a.m. this morning but I feel pretty good. I took at Tylenol PM when we got to the LV airport (around 8 EST), so I don't remember the flight!!:thumbsup2 I got the luggage at Indy while Mark got the car. I slept the whole way home (1 hour) and the rest of the night! Otherwise I would have been a mess today!

Off to bed...................have a great Tuesday guys!!!
