I by no means meant that Rome was not exotic. I meant that in a previous post I referred to Lynn and Keith being somewhere "exotic" and was right! Please accept my apologies!
Vegas was a great time! I don't like to gamble so I planned to rent a car and drive to Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam while Mark played Blackjack, however when I arrived at the Indy Airport I was greeted at security with "Do you know your driver's license expired on Jan. 22nd????"

So, I planned on taking a helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon instead. However with the NBA All-Star Game there as well, there wasn't a tour to be had!

So, I walked and shopped by day(and bought not one thing!!). It was so beautiful out each day at around 70-74 degrees that I enjoyed the fresh air! Mark played came out even in his gambling venture, so that was good too!! My body got a little confused with the time change, but I am rebounding well.
Elton John was a great show. His video backgrounds were unique and he played the songs I had hoped to hear. The Red Piano was really cool too! Debi-- he mentioned a guy's birthday that day in the audience who was 60 and was talking about his birthday own 60th birthday coming soon. I got to thinking about you guys going to that concert!

He was so funny talking about sharing the auditorium with Celine Dion and how he has fought his weight since he came from his mother's womb and she looks like a Q-tip!!!

He was hilarious!
Barry Manilow was awesome too! He and EJ are such different types of performers, so it was fun to have the mix. He sang many of his popular tunes that I loved. The best was when he sang "Mandy" simultaneously with the video of his debut on TV in the background from the 70s.
We loved our hotel, the Monte Carlo. We ate next door at the ESPN Zone (at NY NY Resort) and saw Bill Walton (UCLA basketball player and TV analyst) there eating his lunch. We also saw Pete Rose at Caesar's doing one of his appearances. I spent the morning Friday getting a massage and pedicure which was great too!!
We got to bed about 2 a.m. this morning but I feel pretty good. I took at Tylenol PM when we got to the LV airport (around 8 EST), so I don't remember the flight!!

I got the luggage at Indy while Mark got the car. I slept the whole way home (1 hour) and the rest of the night! Otherwise I would have been a mess today!
Off to bed...................have a great Tuesday guys!!!
