thanks for checking in during this stressful time...what can we all say to you except your friends are thinking about you and they care about both of you so much....sounds like the saying in America, "when it rains, it pours"....
keep in touch when you can, ok?

OK, the child who spat at you.....DISGUSTING . This IS the reason why I'm NOT a teacher....I would have treated that child in NOT a nice way ....WOW, I admire you girl . AND, also, NO, our
principal(s) would NEVER, EVER have done what you did ...they enjoy sitting behind a desk, and doing whatever they are 'supposed' to do (don't get me started on our high school principal!)

I also just found out about a good friend, whose cancer has returned and it is NOT a good outlook for her....as I get older, seems that word "cancer' is attacking more and more people that I know

Last night about 14 of my friends had a surprise party for me after work...it was
F-U-N YES, three glasses of wine for me, in the awful heat...I was sweating a bit. Can any of you guess what 'some' of my presents were (theme?)......

Guess what the inspection team called today 2 day inspection monday and tuesday, I'll be glad when it's over but its keith's bday this weekend and we were supposed to be going away!!! not anymore, I could really have done without this this week, we have to visit my aunt on saturday and hope she is still alive!! As I can't be out of school right now, I'll be back in a week after the inspectors have gone home wish me luck!!

We may be going to see Mark's mom this weekend. She's really depressed and the kids could be her medicine (the only grandchildren). I am just laying back and letting Mark make the decision here....

Cancer....what a terrible word. Our football coach at IU died just yesterday of brain cancer. He was a great guy. He came out two years and read to my students and was awesome! He was only 59 years old. What at terrible tragedy....

Mark has an employee who is breeds show dogs and is a judge, so he is in NYC a lot. He told Mark that he thinks we need to make ressie's at "Carmine's". He says it's near the theatre and they bring out a lot of food for your $$. Just a thought.....

It will just be myself with M&M as the boys will be heading out to "the yard" that day in the early evening.

OH, Lynn, girl, let's just get thru this next week, and hopefully everything will 'turn around' for you...I'm praying it does

Two of my retired professors took me out to dinner tonight - very beautiful place, kindof reminds you of an Artist's Point at Disney.....even the bathrooms were gorgeous. There was an open deck on the top of the building where we first had drinks, the night was gorgeous. Then dinner inside...couldn't pronouce anything I ordered (it was an Italian restaurant - and NO, I didn't order spaghetti & meatballs, it wasn't on the menu!)

I can't believe it is only two more days

Ok, Ok, I take off for two days and all heck breaks loose..........first.......... Lynn, I'm so sorry.......about the student, the work pressures, the family concerns, and the missing bday celebration...............I was going to complain about my DDs but now I will hold it in!! When students act like that, it truly hurts your soul, I hope you know that YOUR STUDENTS ARE SOOOOOOOOO LUCKY TO HAVE YOU AS A HEADMISTRESS............I don't think too many schools have a principal like you...................(I'm sure Jenny & I wish you were our boss!!!)

Lucky.......it sounds like your friends are there for you and giving you a wonderful send off..........I hope our dinner next week is sufficient!!! If I make up with my family, we'll all be there, otherwise.........it will be just me at KOP (jkjkjkjk).......we're having a rough night!!!

You know you're in trouble when you wish you were back to work after only 3 days off!!

Hey Jenny, the Carmine's idea is excellent.........there's one in Atlantic City and we love it..........what do you think Lucky? Can Debi & clan join us for that????

Ok, I was in Pittsburgh for the last two days.............Jessica was visiting a college for soccer, but for me it was very personal.........My Uncle Richard (who was a single Lutheran minister) passed away from CANCER at 55, and he lived in Pittsburgh most of his adult life.............so for me, it was alittle tough and reminiscent..........I HONESTLY HATE CANCER.....Ken's dad just died from it..............the only answer to me is..................don't hold things in............LET IT OUT...............LAUGH ALOT.........BE HAPPY.......ENJOY LIFE...........RETIRE EARLY (THAT ONE IS FOR U LUCE )

Thank God for WDW!! It is such a fun place to enjoy AND MEET WONDERFUL PEOPLE................ Let's be grateful that we have each other and so many fond memories...............

Since Mark does not like Italian (except pizza) he suggested it knowing I would like it, but I don't want to be selfish. I will be there all week. If you want I could make ressies. Doug told Mark it was really close to the theatre. Does your family eat Italian Lucy and JoAnn? I would think with a name like Bolusi, this would be right up there alley if they can join us!!!

BTW, Tara told me yesterday that her summer fitness magazine writing job has already given her a promotion!!! (She took off school this quarter to go the Med with us and then she got a magazine writing job and now she's been promoted!!) Is that clearer???
