Mallory will......she and the boys rode it FOUR TIMES. Once they did it 3 times in a rowin about 15 minutes!! She will hold you hand...usually she doesn't hold on AT ALL! They all three ride with their hands up in the air! (most of the time)!

BTW ~ I was telling Mallory about my friend who will be at WDW and really likes little girls. Marshall chimes in "if John is having a friend at WDW and so is Mallory, who will be my friend??" I told him that I bet Bob would want a EE riding partner!

Ok, you made me feel better, Jenny! I am in a bad mood b/c I have 15 more days of ST. I'm trying not to think about it all weekend but it's still there. But then I thought about Jenny and all the "accidents" and I felt better!! Tell Mallory I'll ride with her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More bad news................I went bathing suit shopping today............it WAS NOT PRETTY! Good news, I bought some good clothes for warm weather!!! I can't wait to go to Florida..................14 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we all have a ressie for Wednesday night. Hey Deb & family, please let us know if you want to meet up. Our tentative plan is the WDW parks on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday & Thursday. We will go to Universal on Tuesday. I know it's hard with a large group, but please let me know what you are doing! We definitely want to see MM in action if possible!!! Keep us posted!

I think we'll go to AK to try to ride EE and then to MGM on Wednesday. We'll do the MK on Thursday.

Way to go JoAnn! I'm sure you look great. It's never easy trying on a bathing suit without a tan.

We can't wait to get to Florida...10 more days. It's going to be a busy 10 days too.

Marshall set the wake up call for 6:30 a.m.. (his birthday) and had us at AK by 7:30 for an 8:00 opening. We were at the back of the crowd during the "official opening ceremonies". They kind of "managed" the crowd around Discovery Island to Asia to get to EE, but we cut through DinoLand USA past the old Tarzan Rocks amplitheatre to EE. We got there about the same time as the beginning of the other crowd. We really didn't rush or anthing either. So, we got in line and Mark grabbed FP. We all got on, then the kids went alone quickly, then again on their FP. Mark and I ended up giving our FP away later in the day because we just couldn't do it again. I had made the mistake of riding with an empty stomach (Hello! It was 8 a.m..... I don't like food too early!) That is not a good thing to do for me!

I need a favor from someone. It really had Marshall bugged that EE was not on the maps. He is a map hound. He gets one everytime we go into anything that has one and guides us around (like we need help at WDW!!). Anyway, since EE will be offically open, I am thinking they will have it formally on the map. If it is, would someone send me one? You know the maps as you walk in. This would thrill the child!

Tomorrow is my weigh-in day again....my dinner consisted of a hamburger patty, plain, with a baked potato with salsa, and red beets and applesauce - oh, yummmmmmmmm. I won't eat again until 1:00 pm tomorrow afternoon.
LOOK, with all that wonderful food I'm going to eat in Disney, I've got to do something.

LOL!! Oh, the back...I had surgery on it 3 1/2 years ago! This pain is like a scraped knee.......nothing!! When you blow a disc....THAT'S PAIN!! Actually, I feel pretty good today. Wait until the rain blows in this weekend!

Hi all,
Sorry I have been quiet for awhile, been a busy weekend. Anyway, we are officially on the waitlist for the 7/28 sailing. I finally spoke with Sandra yesterday (thanks Kathy). I am not geting my hopes up too high, although yesterday I was starting to get a little excited about it...I'll try not to do that too often. But it would be a great trip to do altogether. Jenny - I agree with you about the money, and I am not able to justify it...there will be a lot of cutbacks in the Bolusi household if we do this trip. Also, your kids are still young and may not appreciate this trip as much as if they were a little older. Lucy, like you I remain the pessimist (and Micco the optimist) with this trip. But we are definitely up for an alternate trip, if we don't sail with DCL.

Jenny - That is a hysterically funny story... , but I agree with Bill, you should have that checked out...

JoAnn - We wil be getting in late Sunday night, so we are up for the parks on Monday for sure. Do you still have my cell #? Also, do you have Alex's #, so you can call her and find out where she is going to be on Sunday. She may have off Tuesday and Wednesday, it seems that is how her weeks have been going lately, or she may just get 1 day off because it is Easter week. She will know her schedule this w/e, I think. Also, dinner plans are fine for Wed night, and do you think it's too late for us to join you on Monday at CG?

Oh, and if we are there in July, we will ride EE with ANYONE

Lucy, We'll be at the BCV 7-13 October. You and Bob have got to join Ted and me at Party for the Senses at Epcot on Saturday evening 7 October. It is the best! Tickets won't go on sale for that until late July. I'll let you know when to sign up. MNSSHP will be going on as early as Columbus Day Weekend but the actual party dates won't be announced until May. We plan on attending on Thursday 12 October if that turns out to be a party date. We look forward to seeing you guys in October.

Forget that EE,BT,PT,PP rides and stuff....remember Cal last summer??, when one of those scary rides broke....and one of our grandtr's had been on it earilier... you guys got short memories... I'd rather risk falling off a bar stool....

I remember that ride! Bob was on the ride that same day as your granddaughters.......that is WHY I don't do those rides.....old persons, like myself, do not get injured sitting on benches......

Lucy, Party for the Senses is part of Epcot's Food and Wine Festival. These parties are held every Saturday night during the F&W Festival which runs from 30 September to 12 November. The party is supposed to stimulate all of your senses. Famous chefs from all over the country as well as from many of the top Disney restaurants prepare tasting portions of their signature dishes. There's everything from soups and appetizers to main courses and desserts as well as different wines, beers and coffees to go along with it all. Cirque Du Soleil performers entertain throughout the evening. It is very festive. You pay one price for admission (it was about $95.00 per person + tax last year) and then everything is included in the price. You also get reserved seating for the Eat to the Beat Concert that will take place right before the party starts. There are plenty of tables and chairs set up inside the party so you don't have to eat standing up. The party ends just in time to see Illuminations. It's a great night.

I'm sure that MNSSHP will be held at least one night during your stay. I would guess that Thursday 5 October will be your best bet. If there ends up being a party on Sunday 8 October, we'll go that night too.

We stayed at SSR in December and really liked it. We've never stayed at WL but it looks very nice. In October, the places to stay are either BWV or BCV because of their proximity to Epcot and F&W.

and I'm not happy...prices are ridiculous. I'm booked (for now) $22763 for both cruises including r/t transfers, not including airfare. I got $250 obc from DCL on the Med cruise because of my oboard booking and $250 per cruise OBC from All Seas. And these prices are only going to go up from here. My price is supposedly the lowest price being offered. I was prepared for a $30K trip when all is said and done but now it's looking more like $35K.

My TA just called with the price quotes for my b2b May repo/Med cruise for 2 adults and 2 children ages 5 and 8 for a cat 6.

Repo $10899 including tax but no insurance or transfers

Med cruise $11664 including tax but no insurance or transfers...the kicker here is that this includes my 10% onboard booking discount!

My TA didn't have the per person price breakdown but she's going to call me back with that info shortly.

These prices don't make sense! I was expecting $9596 for the repo plus tax and port charges based on DCL's website price chart $3699 per adult and $1099 per child.

I was expecting $10437 plus tax and port charges based on DCL's website price chart $4299 per adult and $1499 per child = $11596-10% onboard booking discount.

I hope that there's been a mistake because these prices are ridiculous and they're supposed to be the lowest prices offered!!!???

UPDATE:

I just heard back from my TA. Here is the breakdown of the prices:

Repo $3699 per adult, $1599 per child!

Med $3892 per adult with 10% discount and $1822 per child with 10% discount!

Round trip transfers will be $50 per person.
