Contact CG, I changed my ressie to around 5:50pm to include my "rents ." I think earlier times are easier to get. We are a party of 7, if you find, when you call, that a better time is available for everyone. If you want me to call, I would be happy to.

Kathy's doing AK early on Wednesday and then MGM later. I made a SCIFI ressie at around 11:10am on Wed for lunch at MGM. It's a family tradition for us.

I wish I could be with you guys at WDW! I know I was just there, but not with any of you! I am looking forward to this July trip!!

I am so ready for the weekend. Moreover, BASEBALL SEASON!!! I guess the Secret Service has moved into the stadium for the President's visit on Monday. I bet that is a mess getting in. Our seats are low, so they will have us going through metal detectors! It's like going through the airport with you shoes on!!!

Tomorrow night is our music program at school. I HATE those things. The parents all want to have an inpromptu conference in the hall!! Oh well, it will be over and done!!!!

I'm in the same boat I had an appt. after work, but delayed it because I wanted to open this CD....it just didn't work - told me it was a blank CD....

GOSH, I hated those nights at elementary school....sorry, TEACHERS.
I know we are supposed to be proud of our children, and I was, but SO BORING a night.....so glad they are over. In our middle school and high school, the nights go quickly, thank goodness. And, NO teachers want to even speak to the parents!

Colin Powell is at Kutztown tonight.....I work near where he is speaking so all parking is limited today......no, I'm not going to see him, duh, it is my night out with the girls, GET REAL.

MRS. JT goes on Space Mountain - OUCH! There are SO many nice places to SIT around space mountain! AND, I love the talking garbage cans and trying to find the person who is talking.

Jenny, this summer, may Mallory and I go over the Grand Floridian to Park Fare at dinner and eat with the princesses, please? Oh, yea, Bob too, he loves princesses too, but for other reasons. Don't even get me started about Esmerelda (sp?) and Pochahantas (sp?).
And me? They just HAD to close the Tarzan show, didn't they?!!!!!

I'm sad that i can't join you guys in April, but I wish you a GREAT time.....

I am really mad about those CDs, I made sure and I checked to see if the pictures were on there, and on my computer, they are. Maybe it's just a different program, but I think you should be able to open it on any computer. I am sorry, thought it was a way to get pictures of Alex to you. I will talk to Micco and see if we can't figure it out, I am so computer illiterate when it comes to certain stuff. Jenny - Your blank CD should be arriving soon.

I got my CD (blank) today! I really thought the front was neat (does that make you feel any better Debi??). It is clever! I feel bad for you. It is obvious you put a lot of work into these!!

Off to the city tomorrow afternoon. I don't know if I'll pay for some internet time or not, so.........

The STUPID program at school is over! Whew! I have them all done now for the year . M&M had theirs already! Next week....parent teacher conferences (Lucy's favorite free time activity??) Just kidding dear!!!

You can have Mallory any day you want Lucy.....just remember you ASKED for her!! Mark told her tonight if she didnt tone down her attitude with me that he was going to call the "Stepmother" and arrange for Mallory to stay with them in the castlethis July...that ALWAYS scares her!! Despite our tech issues................Thank you SO much, Debi for sending them..........you are really the best!I'm am SO thrilled that Alex is doing what she's doing and that we are sharing alittle bit of it with you. Personally, I can't think of a better achievement for a 18 year old college student. WTG!!!

Now........Lucy...............we are also having our school play next week. I LOVE when the parents come and I get to see them (hahahaha) Truly, it is fun to see old students and their families...............since my class is not in the show (I'm safe, Jenny!) All I can say is.................11 MORE DAYS!!! Needless to say, I WON'T BE TEACHING COLLEGE ANYTIME SOON!!!

BTW, I have a friend whose son attends Kutztown and he is producing the Powell visit! How cool is that???? Small world!

...to Daylight Savings Time. Aren't you glad you lose an hour of sleep this w/e Jenny?

Anyway, as far as the Med goes....looking like we are probably going to have to pass...I got a call from All Seas yesterday around 4. They had a Cat 3 available for us, but they needed to know by 7:00 last night. not much time to make a decision and give a $2,800 non-refundable deposit. The price: $15,832 for the four of us. Does not include transfers, insurance, air fare, or anything else. I mean, I haven't even taken a drink yet...but I think I need a few after those prices.... Micco called them back and told him he needed to sleep on it (I worked until 9:30 last night, so we needed a chance to talk). Well, we talked about it this morning, and I know he really wants to do it, and was ready to book it....but once again, I put a damper on things. I did not have a good night's sleep thinking about it. I am feeling a little guilty because I know he was ready to go for it. We are talking about a $25 to $30K trip when all is said and done. I will be sick for the next year and a half, and probably want to throw myself off the ship when I get there. I can't see spending that kind of money at this point in my life. I am sure we can do another line for less $$$. We are still on the wait list for a Cat 5 or 6, but it is not going to be that much cheaper. So it looks like this dream will stay just that....a dream. Plus, if we do this cruise, Disney in July this year will definitely be out.

So that makes us up for anything else that us poor broke souls may find to do. If Disney is doing any 7 day Carribean next summer with the Wonder, we may consider that. Or do the Wonder for 4 days, and Disney for a few days. Or even look for another cruise on a different line...Anyone????

hey all! sorry its been awhile, ive been working long weeks here!

Well on the topic of me staying the summer, right now its in the hands of disney. I would love to stay the summer but it's not looking like they want to let me home for my sisters sweet 16 and thats making me very nervous. If they wont allow me home for that, I cannot stay the summer. However, I did finally find a manager who was willing to help me last night and I have to give her a call today when I get into work and "work" with her. So give me a few more days and hopefully I'll have some good news. I miss my family, but boy do I love it down here.

Mom and dad Sorry to hear about the cruise =( but I know you guys know whats best for us and I dont even care if we go on vaca. Whatevers best for the family is what we need to do...but ill talk to you more about when I give ya's a call today.

This week should be fun, alot of work but alot of fun stuff to. My friend Kati whose good friends with Princess Leia and Snow White, and I are going for dinner Monday night, Wednesday I'm going with my roomies to the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique and we're going to get our hair and nails done like princesses and go take pictures in front of the castle and than dinner in Tony's Town Square restaurant. Plus a possible secret adventure on tuesday, woohoo!

Anyway, I have to leave for work in ten minutes and I'm still in my PJ's..

Hey all! I didn't get a call about the Med cruise.....however, isn't the Cat. 3 a really expensive room?? I'm not planning on booking that anyway! I guess I'll hear soon! We're looking to do a Cat 6/11. I REALLY want to do a Med cruise with DCL..........I hope we can afford it!

Where did you find the dates? I've been so wrapped up in the 2007 cruise booking that I haven't been paying attention to the other boards. I guess that means that we will be going on Tuesday the 10th and you'll be going on Friday the 6th...bummer. I just booked the Fantasmic dinner package at Hollywood & Vine for Sunday 8 October at 5:30pm and I plan to book an adult-only evening at California Grill or Flying Fish on Monday 9 October. We use the sitting service every other night. We'll be doing Fantasmic, MNSSHP and MBYBBQ with the kids. They won't open bookings for Food & Wine Festival events like Party for the Senses until the end of July. There is no assigned seating. You just call the special number for Food & Wine Festival bookings and purchase 2 tickets for PFTS on Saturday 7 October. You don't get any tickets in the mail like you will for MNSSHP but your name and reservation # will be on a list outside of the event where you check in.

....yes honey, you lose an hour of sleep tonight... I can't help rubbing it in, I crack myself up.

Anyway, Alex called late last night....and....Lucy... you can start jumping up and down... It looks good for her staying the summer...she finally found a manager who would listen...If they are staying through the summer, the kids are entitled to take a week vacation, so she will be coming home in May for her sister's Sweet 16, we booked the flight for her today. I can just see your face now Lucy, ok, now cut it out contain yourself woman!!!! Like I said, it didn't make sense that they would be willing to let her go, rather than give her a few days off (especially since the summer is busy, and they are short on mice - lol). Finally, someone she got in touch with said the same thing. Hellooooo...

Anyway, we have been looking into alternative Med cruises. I think NCL has something comparable, but about half the price. I got a price of a little under 11,000 (including airfare, taxes and insurance) for the same type of room. JoAnn I know, I would love to do the Med with Disney, but they really are out of their minds with these prices, and I know there are other lines just as good out there, that are much less expensive. We are still on the waitlist for a Cat 5/6 (we won't go less than that becaues we want a verandah). Micco just thought with an 11 day trip it would have been nice to have the 1 bdr. Just not happening! So if you guys don't do Disney, would you consider another line???? We would still like to do some sort of trip together next summer, and we are keeping all options open.

Glad you guys finally got the pictures, I don't have to shoot myself now...thank God for Captain Nemo...I knew I kept him around for something.

Now Debi about 2007 bread and water rations from now until then and you'll be fine... seriously i know what you mean about the prices we'll probably go for a cat 11 first time ever inside cabin but we're hoping to book one near the secret sundeck on 7.
Kathy I've asked around about Barcelona haven't been there for about 15 years myself but friends have and they say no different to any big city the world over. Take all the normal precautions and stay in the areas recommended and you'll be fine.
Still not 100 per cent on crusin'the med you yanks are so much fun, not sure if I want to mix with crowds of Europeans I do think it will be different!!!
