Hi all,
We had a great w/e with Alex here. She left this morning, and again, I was crying like an idiot. I thought it would get easier, but it just gets harder. Briana and Alex got along so well this weekend, it was nice for both of them. Alex had a great time, but she is glad to get back to the warm weather. I have a funny feeling she will spend the summer there. Micco and I both would like her home, yet it would be a great opportunity if she could get a parade or Spectro. So we are starting to talk July...but we will know better later in the week.

Anyway, we hear that they will be making an announcement on Tuesday at World Showcase for next year's cruise. Since they are making the announcement there, seems like it could be....the Med??? Alex is off Tuesday, so we are trying to find out what time this announcement will be so she can go and find out all the details.

JoAnn - We already have a Magical Gathering reservation and number for April, if you want to work off that number, just let me know.

I am at work today with my all day crop, but I am soooo tired....can't wait til 10:00 so I can go home!

Hope Marshall and Owen both had great birthdays!!!

April News....
I made a ressie for the Yacht Club Galley for 5:30pm on Wednesday, April 12th for the 19 of us. Needless to say, there was limited availability that week. There were other restaurants available that night at that early time, so let me know ASAP if you would like me to change this. I was thinking that the teens could eat and then head over to the MGM easily from this location.

We are also going to CG on Monday night at 5:30pm with our party of 7; Sci Fi Diner on Wed. April 12th at 11:10am with our party of 7; if anyone else is interested please let me know.

We plan to go to Universal on Tuesday all day long.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY OWEN!!!

Just got home......tired! Kids are asleep and Mom isn't too far behind!!

I have enjoyed posting from WDW and look forward to the April posts (someone will keep Lucy and I "going" won't you???) I cannot tell you how great it was to be "home"! It had been a year and that can't happen again! I missed it so much. Mark and I want to live there more now than ever! John already is talking about Florida, Florida State, somewhere in Florida. In the meantime, he is excited about having someone to "hang with" this summer with Tyler! He was pretty sick of his brother and sister, but being with them in WDW is better than home!!!

Baseball season opens two weeks from Monday! The Fishers will be in Cincinnati Opening Day on April 3rd, then again April 7-9. We are also going the weekend of April 14-16 to see the Reds play the St. Louis Cardinals in the "NEW BUSH STADIUM" which opens on April 10th. We will see the 4th game in the new stadium! I grew up watching the Cards in old Bush, so this will be fun!

Sorry I haven't been on lately. I didn't pay for service the last two days, so I couldn't post! I will fill you in later......like tomorrow!

SNOW DAY!!! They called a 2 hour delay and 5 a.m., then a full cancel at 7 a.m. At least he tried to get us there! Now I have to go to school the Tuesday after Memorial Day I had planned on being in Wrigley Field that day! I'll just have to save a day and not go in!!!

The big announcement came at 10 am this morning, Alex just called me, she had just gotten over to Epcot, but they announced it at 10. They begin booking April 4th is what she said. Depending on our CM discount, we may be in...but we can't sail until at least sometime in July...anyone else in???

I just can't believe this weather. It is so cold in PA too.

This trip is going to blow the budget big time...We may end up living in our minivan in Coronado. I just got off the phone with Ted. He was dying to hear the itineraries but he was in procedures all morning. He says, "we only live once and it's the trip of a lifetime". I plan to either bring my laptop or use DCL's computers with unlimited minutes so I'll be sure to post daily...6 sea days in a row! We'll definitely be rested up for the Med. I spoke to Sandi at All Seas this morning. She said deposits would be $500/person for both the repos and the Med cruises. She still doesn't know if the 10% onboard booking discount will be honored though. All Seas will probably be offering onboard credit. DVC has their points out for these cruises. They also have a cash/points combo price. You have to pay for at least 1 person in the stateroom with points and the remainder can be paid for with a cash price that is relatively in line with the lower end of the DCL website pricing. The cruise will need to be paid in full at the time of booking however. Remember you can bank and borrow points if you like. I don't have enough points available to make a dent. Member Services has all the details. We're really looking forward to this trip but we'll miss all of you.

Wow, Kathy I can't believe Ted said that, I think those were Micco's words exactly. They are a little alike, it is scary!!! "The trip of a lifetime...we will find a way to pay for it" The ports look awesome...we could actually do the repo trip, but if I'm going to do the Med, I am going to do the Med, and see all those wonderful ports. By the way, I called Sandi last week and she never returned my call, so I don't know if I am on the list with them. Disney is not giving any CM discounts for this trip either (only $100 onboard credit for Cat 8 and above - Cat 9 and lower gets 10% discount, go figure).

Lynn - July 28th may actually be the date I was thinking (since it's the same time we went last year and won't interfere with the girl's school schedules), JoAnn, what about you guys...a little quiet there my dear...

I am so wary about doing this trip because of the $$$, I will probably feel guilty if I book it, but you only live once...and if Micco has a will, then he will have a way! I have learned that much after 22 years of marriage.

It would be so nice if we could all do this together...if we go, it just won't be the same without you all onboard.

Anyway, time to go get ready to watch Idol...

If Micco says you're going, then start planning! I wish you could do either the May repo or the 26 May 11-nite with us. Ted and Micco would have a ball! Of course, they'd have to bring along some good cigars. Come on...cruise with us!

Try Sandie again (and again if necessary). If you can't get her ask for Keith. I actually got a call confirming our waitlist requests via DCL from them. It looks like DCL may let us roll over our 10% onboard booking discount too.
