I had NEVER heard of taking the day off for hunting! Yesterday some friends of ours in Newark, OH were talking about how their granddaughter is off tomorrow since it is the first day of deer hunting! I live in the sticks, folks and we don't take the day off to hunt! That just cracks me up!

How lucky am I....?? With K lawall fixing my computer, bringing donuts when he came in, taking us to brunch, I mean to say ,how lucky am I....!! OoooH ,but the best was My sweet loving JoAnn.... She claims she fixed the computer...!! Well, be that what it may,She was buying MK for everyone, spreading joy in the casino's..... (winning heavy I might add) and best of all cheering up the ol' man ,buying coffee from the Starbuck.... How lucky am I....??

We are heading to NYC tomorrow - seeing White Christmas on Broadway - and right now, as we speak, it is snowing here.....how great is that!

Jo-Jo: you are making me NUTS!, with all the talk about shopping and wrapping, we might have bought FOUR things and they are all for Tyler ...
nothing for anyone else....I'm getting depressed just talking about it!
I'm just hoping Santa comes thru with the rest of the presents!

I've been working every day again....loving it....we did have a sad day on Thursday at the high school (worked the office) - for some odd reason, we had black ice on the country roads. One of our students flipped his truck coming to school, which tied up all the buses and teachers and students. Fortunately, the boy walked away with just scratches, he was wearing his seat belt. BUT, then, the news came that there was a fatal accident also, a father of one of our students.....it was so sad. Kids came in the office asking to leave to go see the boy (whose father was killed).....it was a depressing day. I hate this ice stuff.....luckily Bob was at work already when the ice developed, in town here it was only rain, so we couldn't understand the problem with the buses....let's just say, by the end of the day, all of us girls were taking headache pills.
Glad we are taking a bus tomorrow to NYC - the roads will be slippery again with the cold weather and snow. Tomorrow it is also supposed to be very, very windy in the city. All I want to do is go to my Marriott and have my Starbuck's coffee, run up to Rockefeller Center and see the tree, have lunch at Bubba Gump's (tyler's request), and see the show, and come home. Tyler is SO looking forward to tomorrow....two very cute girls from his class are going along!
