just another day at the office! No really, it's sad sometimes how these kids act. I would #$@* my own for acting that way!

I've commennted on Burrell in the past,he's a perfect ballplayer,clean cut,tolerant of the new's media....he's just not consitant enough...I believe this was one of his best years...If the Phillies want to repeat ,he had to go....hopefully the new guy will fill the bill...to my knowledge noone picked him up yet...Hopefully a west coast team will...!!

I honestly am so far behind in shopping......this has never happened to me! I got at least a week behind when we had to go to Ohio last week. Then, Mark decided to remodel his "Man Cave" so we've done carpet, windows, etc. Furniture yet to be delivered this week coming up.

Marshall is heading to No. Indiana to go tobogganing with his scout troop tonight for the weekend and I am sending Mallory away with a friend so we can finish? tomorrow. The mall will be a mess, I am sure. Going to Indianapolis to shop. Nothing in this burg!

Bill is harmless........let him have his fun, JoJo. Afterall, there's no fish to catch right now (the swimming kind at least)!!

Off to school..........no kids, just teacher working on end of semester reports!

We DID go to school today, but we closed at 11:00! I worked the high school office and parents were calling, really angry, that we had school.....
not our fault - administration's fault....I just hope all our kids get home safely.

I got awake at 5:15, watched the TV for school closings, 6:30 - rushed to the shower, and was at school by 6:55!
The sleet/snow started around 9:00. NOW, I'm going to bake Christmas cookies!

I'm exhausted......I went shopping AGAIN, Ken needed some help! And I totally helped, but now I'm completely burnt out, so now.....prepping for food shopping and just chillin' for the rest of weekend....

We shopped 12-5 and I am beat too! We picked up the new furniture for the "Man Cave" today and brought it home too!I am like Lucy...whipped!

The mall was absolutely NUTS! I was bent down looking for a pair of PJ pants for Marshall and some woman came barreling down through the aisle with a cart and about threw me into the display. She didn't even know I was down there..kept right on mowing down everything in site!

How 'bout those little women with the sharpest elbows known to man,pushing down and isle catching the men reaching for the tomato sause on the top shelve....I feel safer in a shower room with a bunch of sailors....
Jenny sure has been getting thumped around,last week on the ice this week being subject to a "hit and run" shopping cart... AaaaaH it's a great time of the year...

Never, never have i been this tired - oh, yea, last month.....

tonight we are having open house.....about 12 adults, AND 12 kids sleeping over......it is only 5:53 and i'm ready to pass out.

We cleaned and cooked ALL day (i did some of that yesterday too)...starting at 8:00, guest arrive at 6:00.
just let me give you an example of what we made:
bob made: sweet and sour wings, stuffed mushrooms and crescent miniature hot dogs.
i made: 4 kinds of dip, a cheese ring, meatballs (oh, yea, can't count that--they are the Sam's variety), cream cheese brownies, pecan pie, bought all the food and drink for the kids, put together a HUGE meat platter and cheese platter, a mexican dip that is outstanding....i can't even remember the rest, i'm too tired.

Bob asked if we were going to take turns staying up tonight (since there are boys and girls) - I said NO!

plenty of alcohol too (which MUST be hidden after we go to bed).

tonight Bob said, BOY, this house is ready to be put on the market and ready for show...yea, the downstairs and rec room....the upstairs is disgusting. You know how you quickly move everything from one floor to the next when you are having company.....believe, we did that today.
