Hi All,
Before I left I had read about the option of going to the Hess Station accross from DTD to stock up on cheaper snacks (and Pepsi for those of us that prefer it to Coke). I looked a various maps and read many posts but got the impression that you would be jaywalking accross a huge busy highway. I also got the impression that you would not be welcome to travel on the Disney busses carrying beer.
I just wanted to let those who might find it helpful that there is a well marked crosswalk near the Hess station so it is totaly safe to cross. Although I don't drink so I didn't buy any beer, I did see a man and woman waiting near a Disney bus stop with 2 cases of beer. The bus driver stopped to ask if they wanted to get on but they said they were waiting for a cab so this tells me that the bus drivers (or at least this driver) didn't mind having people carrying booze on the bus (unopened of course)
The next time I go down to Disney I'm heading over to Hess to stock up
Thanks,
Susan
