Hermit carb

Anybody have one? Are they easy to take care of? How often do you clean their cage?

I assume you mean a Hermit Crab and not a Hermit Carb because for those doing Atkins there is a difference

DD(8) has a hermit CRAB (not carb )... She actually had 3 but 2 died... the 3rd has been around for over a year... They are very easy to care for... the one thing is to give them room and keep water available... I guess that is 2 things... They are fun to watch but very shy... hope that helps!

ok....yes, I had 2 - Bob & Larry. Larry died so then we just had Bob. Bob was lonely so we got Herman & Sherman. Sherman died, but Bob & Herman were still around. Well, then Herman died, so I gave Bob to a friend that had some. IMO - they are cool when they are alive, but really gross when they die. They fall out of their shell and stink. (Herman died when we were gone and the girl housesitting didn't know what to do with him....so she threw him in the garbage....we came home 3 days later.......eeewwww!)
Anyway, they are cool when you spray them and stuff, but will I get another one....no way.

I meant carb! It is a new diet thing, saw it on Oprah today.
