WOW!!! You got your postcard sooner than I thought you would, that's great!!! I enjoyed reading your DD's reaction as well!!! LOL!!!

I hope the others that were mailed out to other DIS'ers arrive as well!!!

I was soooo excited - I just got the mail and in it was a postcard from Castaway Cay (Thanks Verandah man!) I thought my dd would be so excited (she's 7) so I called her over "Look, Look" You have a letter from Tinkerbell." So she reads the postcard and turns to me and says - mom - I'm really scared now! WHAT?? She got all teary eyed and said "how does Tinkerbell know me? I don't wanna have to be good ALL the time"

VerandaMan, we got our card today. The kids really loved it and was totally surprised to get a card from Mickey and Min. We aren't sailing until next year, but we will definitely "pay it forward" when the time comes.

Thank you, Verandah Man. You've made another little girl very happy. I saw the postcard in the stack of mail, so I told DD there was mail for her. She picked up the postcard and saw the picture of Mickey and the ship and got all dreamy eyed and said, "someday I want to go on a Mickey cruise." I told her to turn it over and read what it said. I had to help her with some of the words, but she was stunned for all of one minute before she went right into a list of everything we'll need to do to get ready for the cruise. That's my little planner (takes after her mom).

I have 3 postcards, that came with my DCL reservations. They have Mickey and Minnie on the front, with the ship in the background.
On the back, it has, in Mickey's writing :

Hi Ya Pal,
Gosh! It's great to hear that you're coming on a Disney cruise. There's a lot of big doin's going on out here!
I can't wait to see ya on the ship!
See ya real soon!

I'd be glad to send these to someone.....not sure if these are THE postcards that everyone wants.....but I'd be happy to mail them to someone if it fits your need.

Yesterday, we opened up our mailbox to see a beautiful postcard that was sent from Mickey Mouse and postmarked from Castaway Cay. My daughter just kept saying, “that’s so awesome … that’s SO awesome!!” … and my son took it to school today to show his teacher.

Andy, thank you … VERY MUCH. It meant so much to our family to get that post card. Yes, but you rock even more!!

I can't wait to "pay it forward" and do the same thing for someone else!!

Got your post card, thanks, just the lift we needed. Alaska is 22 Days away and I blew a knee Monday. Life is so interesting. No trip Insurance so I will go even if I have to be carried.

Is there a postcard that can be sent to my DD? I would be willing to pay it forward when I cruise in July on the Wonder. She loves piglet, but I think getting a piglet postcard would be the same as finding a ripe strawberry ready to be picked in the middle of Boston in December..... ...so I’ll be happy with any character.

Okay, this may sound a little crazy, but I'd love for my 25 YEAR OLD niece to get a postcard. She is going on her very first cruise ever in January with my DH and I on the Magic. She is so excited - she has a countdown going and is reading the boards. She knows what spa treatments she wants. She has purchased a Passporter and everything. I think it would be awesome if she got a postcard.

I will definitely pay it forward in January. If anyone can do this, please PM me for the information.

I've got some postcards created from the recent DIS Board photo mosaic that came out nicely. I'd be glad to fill some postcard requests as well. I'll take up moinab's offer to send postcards from her address if there are any suspicious children there.
