Here we go! 9 days of fun, food and Harry Potter too. updated more Harry and the end

I know many people don't like Animal Kingdom but my family really enjoys this park. We got there as the park was opening but we did not see the preshow. We walked toward the tree of life and took in the beautiful scenery.

We made our way toward the safari. There was no real line and we got right on for our three week journey. This journey may have been closer to three weeks than the normal trip because the Giraffe wanted to hang out in the road. We got some good close up looks at him
disney2011636.jpg

disney2011633.jpg

We had an awesome trip and got great views of many animals. DH and I agree that this was the best trip we've ever had.

Next we walked the forest trail. The girls had a good time asking the cm all kinds of questions about the naked mole rats. they also enjoyed finding the birds on the sheets provided.
disney2011653.jpg

disney2011655.jpg

Next we stopped for a snack. We had a package of grapes and the cheese and fruit package. The Cheese and fruit package was delicious. All the cheese wash fresh and tasty. This was an awesome mid morning snack! I highly recommend it.
Next we headed toward Asia for Expedition Everest. I love the theming on this ride. There was no wait so we sort of rushed past it. I tried to slow down but the people behind you are moving you along. We all loved the ride and DD8 and Dh went twice with the child swap. Here are some pictures of the area.

Time for Girl Scouts gotta go!

We next walked the Pangini trail. I like this one better. I love the beautiful theming and every time I've been there I've had great views of the tigers. The only thing I don't like are bats! I skip on past them. This year while waiting a long long long time for DH and the littles to look at the bats I noticed big windows. I thought they viewed the tigers so I walked on over. OMG it was looking in at gigantic and I mean GIGANTIC bats! I have an irrational fear, I know they can't get me, I understand they are nice animals with their place in the circle of life. However I can't seem to control my physical reaction to them. I started feeling very panicky and was texting DH a lot. I will also mention there are NO benches any where around here :confused3 So eventually DH and the littles came out and we enjoyed the rest of our visit. Here are some pictures.

I loved this bird house. I wish I could get one for my back yard!
disney2011665.jpg

disney2011669.jpg

We had a great view of the Tigers. there are so many viewing areas and I love the tiger art work on the walls. I also got a video of a tiger creeping up on another tiger. that was so cool to watch.

Next we were off for Kali River Rapids. We were all very very hot! DD4 was tall enough but they gave her a special band to designate she needed a special seat. The line was very short and we only waited 5 minutes. They gave DD4 a special seat with a bar that came down. It was a fun water filled ride. We all got a kick out of it. It is however very very short. So we decided to give it another go around. This time the line was getting longer we may have waited 10 minutes. When we got off I think the line was getting even longer. The crowd really did seem to show up around lunch time. Cooled off and refreshed we decided to have some lunch. We checked out Yak and Yeti but our favorite place is Flame tree BBQ and that is where we headed. I got a nice bbq chicken. It comes with slaw but I don't like it. I asked about substituting fries. The CM asked if I was on the dinning plan and I said no. He said great! you can get whatever you want. :yay: So I ordered ala carte fries and the chicken. DD8 got the kids chicken and DD4 was sharing with me. DH and DD17 both got pulled pork sandwiches. DD17 got onion rings! YUM! This was our last on property meal and I have to say I'm glad we didn't do the dinning plan. I know DD4 wouldn't have made it worth it and we got as much food as we wanted at the time. I know people like it and that is fine. I just wanted to mention to people who feel that they "have to do Disney dinning" that I think we spent less per day than we would have paid for the plan and were extremely happy with our meal choices. Our food was excellent. We sat in the back by the water. I love eating down there. You don't even feel like you are in an amusement park!
disney2011681.jpg

Our next mission was Festival of the lion king. Great show we all loved it. DD8 and DD4 were into it! I could tell they were having a great time. After the show we decided to visit some characters. DD17 wasn't with us when we visited Mickey and I wanted a family picture. Also DD4 had really wanted to see Chip and Dale and we hadn't gotten a picture with them yet. Then DD4 insisted on Minnie again and her line was VERY long. There were very short lines for B'rear Rabbit and Pocahontas so we stopped to see them.

disney2011008.jpg

Somewhere in the line waiting I also accomplished a mission for DH, he loves the frozen chocolate covered bannana. :banana:It was HOT so it was a nice cool treat. DD17 also got an ice cream sandwich and shared with the littles. I was still full.
Next it was a stop to see the bugs. We got out of there during the parade so we had to detour around the tree of life. Which was cool and we got to see alot of pretty scenery and animals.
disney2011010.jpg

disney2011012.jpg

disney2011018.jpg

However we were totally the wrong way to see dinosaur. We changed plans and went over to use our Safari fast passes. I'm going to continue in a new post since I have more pictures!

We had another great safari. This time the Rhinos were practically in the road!
disney2011029.jpg

disney2011027.jpg

disney2011024.jpg

Also the Hippo gave us a good show!
disney2011021.jpg

At the end of the ride it was almost closing time. DH really wanted to do dinosaur so he and DD8 hot footed it over there. I was hot and in no mood to run so I stayed with DD4 and we wandered toward the front of the park. DD17 did a bit of shopping. DD4 and I spotted these babies and along with an older couple had some fun.
disney2011030.jpg

disney2011035.jpg

disney2011033.jpg

We meet up with DH and DD8 and went toward the entrance. Somehow Mickey Bars became a hot topic. DH went back into AK to find some. We were right near the exit and there was a bunch of characters and they were having a dance party with the kids. DD4 and DD8 joined in and had a super good time. The best daddy in the whole world returned with Mickey shaped ice cream and happiness reigned in the land, or the world:)
disney2011039.jpg

disney2011040.jpg

This was our last Disney Day :sad2: but I wasn't as sad as I had been on our last Epcot or MK day. I think I was ready for a break since we stayed all day plus I was thinking about packing and I had to work that night. I teach an online class and I had an online session to do that night. I was also really excited to try out Universal and those front of the line passes. We went home took a break. I made tacos in the time share and we packed. The next morning our plan was to check out of the time share check in at the Royal Pacific Resort and then be at Universal by 10 am.

You just had to bring up Kali River Rapids and Flame Tree BBQ, didn't you? :lmao: These are two of my favorite things at AK. Our next trip is May, 2012 and even though we're staying at VWL, we will not go to any of the WDW parks. I'm looking forward to your Universal report for some tips though.

I don't know why they didn't make KRR longer. It really needs to be at least twice as long as it actually is but it is fun nevertheless. Flame Tree BBQ is one of the absolute best CS restaurants in all of WDW. Just watch out for the animals stealing your food! :scared1:

Keep up the great TR.

Flame Tree is a family favorite, good food good price! We did have the wildlife visit our table but no one was feeding them so they moved on!

We were moving today. We switched from the time share to Royal Pacific Resort. We had 2 large suitcases so we filled one with clothes for the three days and one of stuff we would not need. The one suitcase we didn't need we left in the car. We had water, coke, milk, snacks and breakfast stuff left. Also half a loaf of bread. We took it all with us. We had some left overs from les chefs and le cellier but we pitched those. oh well. All in all I was pleased with the amount of food left. We also had souvenirs, electronics and kids stuffed animals stuff. It was a full car. We only had to leave our keys with the security gate so it was a very quick check out. It was a fairly easy drive up to Universal and took about 15 minutes. The hotel was beautiful!
disney2011041.jpg

We decided not to get a roll away bed and made DD4 a "nest" on the floor. That saved us $50 and she thought it was awesome. We were comped a fridge and that was awesome :woohoo: I didn't take any pictures because we all rolled in with our lots of stuff and it wasn't worthy of pictures. The fridge came fast and we headed out to Universal Studios! I have been there only once and DD17 was 9. We took the water taxi which was a really nice form of transportation. when it was sunny.:rolleyes1
disney2011044.jpg

disney2011045.jpg

disney2011048.jpg

disney2011049.jpg

We got there at 10 am and that was my target arrival. The characters were out and DD4 was very excited. She had been looking forward to meeting Dora. We also watch Curious George and she was excited to see him.
disney2011056.jpg

disney2011073.jpg

DD8 was excited to see Scobby Doo.
disney2011060.jpg

DH was happy to see Bullwinkle!
disney2011067.jpg
.
We headed over to ride ET which was a great ride. Next up was the woody wood pecker roller coaster. DD8 and DD4 really enjoyed this one and we rode it several times. The lines were low but we still liked having the express pass. We stopped to see Barney but his show was later in the day.
disney2011074.jpg

disney2011077.jpg
.
There was another character session so we stopped to see woody wood pecker and sponge bob.
disney2011083.jpg

disney2011089.jpg

Next we headed over to the Simpson line. I'm glad we had the express pass.
We had to baby swap with Katie and this was the longest baby swap we had. The Simpson ride is totally awesome. It was funny and crazy and a lot of fun. However it made me feel very very sick. DD17 was even worse.
disney2011093.jpg

disney2011094.jpg

We decided to break for lunch we went to Mel's Dinner.
disney2011097.jpg

disney2011096.jpg

We had burgers and fries. I did not buy DD4 her own food. It was amusement park food and it was good.
disney2011114.jpg

We headed out and saw the gang from Hop. There was a whole ton of them. They were a funny funny group. The little chick was super cute. DD17 took her sisters to see this movie when DH and I were at a wedding. The girls were excited for this meet and greet.
disney2011109.jpg

Next we headed over to Shrek. We stopped to see Shrek, Fiona and Donkey. Donkey was very funny with all the guests. DD17 did not like this Fiona and said she looked nothing like the original.
disney2011119.jpg

We got in our Express line for the show. The line was very long and Universal Studios seemed to be filling up. They were having the Rock the Universe event that evening. This is for Christian rock bands. There was also alot of stages being set up and sound tests. That made the park extra loud. There were a ton of groups in matching tees. DD8 was very spoiled and complained that this line wasn't fast enough! I told her to calm down. The show is funny and I like that the seats move away. We headed back to Men in Black. That was a fun ride. Unfortunately we had a little melt down after this ride. I went to get some slushy drinks as it was hot and we were very thirsty. I think the salty fries contributed to this. Anyway I got the wrong slushy. DH was pretty irritated. After we had some cooling drinks it came out that DH was having alot of trouble hearing me. This park is very loud:confused3 Once that was cleared up we headed to cape cod. DH grew up in Boston and spent many summers on the cape and we all agree this is not exactly like the original! We took a ride and just escaped Jaws! I had never ridden this ride and really wanted to try it. I liked it. It wasn't a top see but I'm glad I did it.
disney2011140.jpg

disney2011141.jpg

Also somewhere in there we saw the Barney Show. I have been watching Barney for the last 17 years. I knew all the words. DH thought I was nuts. I was feeling a little sad knowing that DD4 would be too big for it soon and all my littles would be bigs. However DD4 was having a really great time and I decided to just enjoy watching her.
disney2011136.jpg

disney2011120.jpg

After Jaws we strolled through San Fransisco and New York City. DD4 fell asleep. DH and DD8 went on Mummy. Yes that DD8 is a brave one. She liked it! DD17 was shopping again. I sat near Finnegan's and felt the air conditioning while DD4 snored! When they returned the Blues Bros were out. DH was excited.
disney2011145.jpg

Here my friends is where this nice tale takes a wrong turn. DH felt like he wanted to do "one more ride" it was our planned leaving time as Universal was closing soon and more and more and more people were pouring in for the special event. DH and DD8 went on Twister and DD17 and DD4 and I agreed to meet near the front of the park. While in the shop, the skies turned very dark:scared1: I called DH and we got together as I didn't want to be separated in the storm. So it started raining very very hard with lots of lightning. We got caught near package pick up outside the park. DD8 was crying since she had ridden Twister just 30 minutes before. :sad2: Mass of people were leaving and even more and more masses of people were arriving. We had no idea how to get to the hotel since you can't take a water taxi in the lightning! :scared1: We asked the Universal employees at package pick up and they told us that it was out by city walk parking. A good distance away. When the rain slowed we went to city walk. It started up again with lightning. We stopped at a store and inquired where exactly to go, another City walk employee said down the elevator. More and More masses of people are entering city walk. We get to the busses. NO HOTEL SIGNS. We ask bus drivers they don't know where we should be but they Know those buses aren't' over here. Finally we find a security guard who says our shuttle is BACK BESIDE UNIVERSAL studios! :scared1::sad2:
We head back in the rain and lightning. DD8 is all upset. DH is kinda freaked out and I'm leading this parade. We are now walking through bag check and in the huge mass which is mostly teenagers running in the rain to Universal. We finally find the shuttle and another couple did the EXACT same thing we did on the advice of employees! I KNOW this would not have happened at Disney. Once back at the hotel. I complained. I got a $50 credit for dinner. This really put a damper on the day! Don't worry though tomorrow is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and we'll forget all about this little episode.

Before Harry I want to comment on dinner, I know I know you want Harry but I'm documenting the trip. So we had the credit and the rain didn't let up. We went to Islands the restaurant at the hotel. The food was good the service was very slow. We had a flat bread with pesto it was yum yum. DH and DD8 got the all you can eat wok. They got to pick the sauces meats/shrimp and veggies. They both thought this was fun but it was also slow and had long lines. They apparently didn't have enough woks and they kept sending them back to the kitchen to be cleaned. However the whole meal was really slow so it didn't mater much. We got back to the room after 9:30, DD4 and DD17 actually left a half hour before. We had an early morning for Harry so we all went to bed. So bright and early we headed off to See the Wizarding World. In addition to our unlimited express passes we got into Islands of Adventure at 8 am one hour before regular guests. This perk is why we choose this hotel. We got out, got down to the water taxi and realized our room clock was 15 minutes ahead and that we were about 20 minutes ahead of schedule. :rotfl: It was beautiful morning and we got to IOA 30 minutes early and we were in the front of the turnstiles. We got in but there were alot of teenagers that were sprinting past us. We were not the first ones into the wizarding world but it was very uncrowded. It was also breathtaking. Even after looking at tons of pictures on the dis I couldn't believe how cool it was. So much more than pictures can show.

The detail the feeling of really being there it was incredible. We spent a ton of time just wandering around. We went up to Olivanders and I'm not sure if we were the first or second group in. The show was incredible. A boy to our left was chosen. Next we were in the gift shop checking it out like muggles!

disney2011158.jpg

disney2011159.jpg

DD8 was thinking wands! I told her maybe we'd try the show again and maybe she'd get picked so she decided to wait to see what happens. We got back in the Olivander line and we were first. The first line and the second time we charted with the cm. Many people came by and asked him all these questions. where is this? Is there a ride in there? What do you do in there? It was a little strange. :rotfl: but funny too. So in we went and then Olivander turns around and picks DD8! Yeah, I think we were lucky and he may have remembered as we went really close together and had 5 red thing shirts, home made. It was even a more awesome show when it is your child. She was on cloud nine! :cloud9: I think DD17 was really excited too. She is into Harry Potter but I don't think she would want to be picked. The first two wands were disasters. DD8 was asked to ring the bell a single time but the bells rang and rang. Olivander fixed it. Then he asked her to water the flowers and she killed them. She seemed a bit embarrassed by that one. No worries Olivander fixed that too. Then the perfect wand :lovestruc Unicorn core, good for charm work, good for a joyful wizard:) so cute he got the right thing for a sweet 8 year old girl. So into the store and purchased up the special wand that picked her packaged and sent to the front of the park! Now DH was getting nervous he had his eye on hogwarts and was worried we had wasted too much time.
disney2011154.jpg

disney2011179.jpg

disney2011168.jpg

disney2011167.jpg

We entered the castle but there was no line:yay: This was good as the line was 2 hours long later in the day. It was however hard to enjoy the scenery. We did the castle tour the next day and it was GREAT lots more pictures then. Plus we spent more time listening to dumbledore and Harry, Ron and Hermoine.
disney2011176.jpg

disney2011171.jpg

So we went into the great hall and it was cool but hard to take it all in since we were also loading into the ride vehicles. DD4 and I waited for the others. She was good at child swap she got into watching Harry Potter. Then it was my turn. I couldn't believe this ride. The actual vehicle was very plain but you felt you were really flying. It was totally incredible. The dragon was after you and then you were back on the Quiditch field but then dementors. Oh the demantors are really really really scary. I shut my eyes for several seconds. When the ride was over it was hard to get your sea legs. We browsed the gift shop and headed to the hipogrift. The littles loved this I think we rode 5 or 6 times. We headed over to some of the other gift shops.
disney2011186.jpg

disney2011185.jpg

I bought a cauldron cake. For some odd reason it was buy one get one so I got two! Oh yum, yum, yum. They got this one just right.
I am over my picture limit! See you on the next post!

so we hung out at the owl post and ate the super yum cauldron cakes
disney2011166.jpg

disney2011166.jpg

disney2011188.jpg

disney2011192.jpg

We also checked out the front of the three broomsticks and decided we would come back for lunch.
disney2011187.jpg

As cool and cozy as the the shops and streets were they were starting to fill up! We took a few pictures and decided to head back at lunch time.

disney2011193.jpg

disney2011194.jpg

We headed off to Seuss Landing. I'll update again later.

We headed over to Seuss Landing about 10:30 as Harry Potter was getting crowded. I really loved this land!
disney2011196.jpg

We started with the High in the Sky Trolley as it was the first ride we came to.
disney2011198.jpg

disney2011197.jpg

I didn't realize till we did this on day two that there are two tracks and two stories. Also this ride is VERY tame keep your camera out. I didn't the first time but the views of the Wizarding World are amazing.

We went off to One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish. This ride may or may not get you pretty wet. It is a fun fun ride on a hot day. We loved it and rode twice.
disney2011217.jpg

Next was a ride on the carouseul. It is very cute.
disney2011215.jpg

disney2011216.jpg

Then we went on the Cat in the Hat ride. this was very good fun! We also watch the Cat in the Hat knows alot about that so DD4 was pleased. No pictures because this ride gets wild!
We then saw that Cat in the Hat and Sam I am were out for pictures.
disney2011204.jpg

disney2011211.jpg

disney2011213.jpg

The CM with cat in the hat told us to come back later and be sure to see the Things. We had matching Thing 1 through 5 shirts. A Disigner made them for me! Thanks! We had fun with them.
disney2011220.jpg

We did a few more rides waiting for the time when the things came out. They were inside the little restaurant Circus Mcgurkus. We headed into the air conditioning. :yay: We got a little bench inside the ring. We hadn't realized it was a little show with a story teller, singing, dancing and an abbreviated Dr. Seuss tale. We enjoyed it. We saw lots of characters too. If you eat there they wander around and visit your table. It is counter service too! Can you believe it? Not $50 a person LOL.
disney2011230.jpg

disney2011229.jpg

disney2011231.jpg

Grinch was funny. He acted impatient. Threw up his hands when asked to sign autographs. Gave you move it along motions with his hands. Tapped his foot impatiently. He was good.
disney2011235.jpg

We were now very hungry it was around noon and we had been at the park at 7:30 am. Also the circus had lots of food smells. We headed back over to the Three Broom Sticks. The Wizarding World was extremely full by now and the broom sticks was no exception.

You entered and were in a Que line that had menus and in the back was a glass display with examples of the food. They didn't have a child menu though and that confused some guests including us! Next you got to the counter and ordered. Then went to a second counter for food pick up. You could not be seated with out food. For large parties -we counted as large with 5 - they have a hostess that seats you at larger tables that are reserved. We did wait several minutes until the hostess found us a table which was uncomfortable as we had two trays of food and a small child. DH and DD8 both ordered fish and chips. They both liked it very well. We also got frozen butter beer, regular butter beer and pumpkin juice with fizz. We liked both butter beers DH liked regular and DD17 liked frozen. I liked them both. I liked the taste of pumpkin juice but I couldn't drink it. It tasted like pumpkin pie which I like but drinking it wasn't right. We didn't finish this one. DD17 and I both got the Cornish hen in pastry. I mostly got it since it was in pastry and I like *almost* anything in pastry. I really hated my food. So did DD17. It came with a salad but it was limp amusement park salad and not good. The Cornish hen had a horrible over seasoned taste to me. I probably would have liked the turkey leg or chicken much much better. I was starving. Also it was very very crowded and took away from the atmosphere. DD17 didn't like hers either. DD4 was sharing but didn't seem to eat much of anything. It could have been her little purchase in honey dukes that morning. :rolleyes1
We finished and went toward Jurassic park. I got some popcorn. The popcorn wasn't great either. It tasted a bit old and over salted. I ate it anyway. I could see the greenhouse line for the forbidden journey from the popcorn stand. It must have been over two hours! You could see Hogwarts from there so I took a picture
disney2011239.jpg

DD4 and I went to the playground while the others did the River ride. They LOVED it. It apparently had a HUGE drop at the end even bigger than splash mountain. While they were riding DD4 and I climbed around the play ground. Till I lost her :scared1: I am pretty calm but I must have spent 10 minutes running around that thing yelling my daughters name at the top of my lungs. When I saw DH I started crying and screaming and soon the hunt was on. With 4 of us we quickly found her. She was with a pair of girls about DD8 age who were helping her look for me. I could never figure out why any of the parents -I ran past 5 times yelling my kid's name- never offered to help me. I also never once saw a cm. I was really really hot and thirsty. We decided to move on and the next water ride would be my turn. We also were keeping our eyes peeled for a snack stand. They don't have enough of those in Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios. Next up we went on Dudley Do Rights Rip saw falls. DD17, DD8 and I went on first with our express pass and DD4 took her daddy to find me ship the olive. She loves loves loves black olives and decided this must be fun. We got up close to the end of the line and something happened and the ride was shut down. We ended up sitting on the ground waiting waiting and being grossed out by the couple behind us who was making out and touching each other. EWWWWWW. DD8 didn't seem to notice them at all so I decided not to say anything and call attention to it. We had a fun ride and got completely drenched. In the end we were gone for 45 minutes! It had started to rain and DH was worried about another storm. We decided to leave. Also Me Ship the olive was closed so DH took these pictures instead.
disney2011242.jpg

disney2011240.jpg

disney2011244.jpg

It was only 4:30 and the rain cleared up so we took the water taxi and the littles and I swam in the pool. About every half hour they had an organized game for the kids. My girls participated a few times. It was an enjoyable late afternoon and I was able to spend a good bit of time on the lounge chair while the girls played in the spray zone. We were conflicted for dinner as the City Walk didn't appeal much to us. We wished we could add another day to our tickets and eat at Epcot. It was too late for that. We used up the last day two days prior. Oh well:( We also tried for a reservation at boma and Ohana. No luck. DH didn't want to go to downtown Disney. We decided to go to pastamore at Citywalk. DD17 and I split the egg plant parm and chicken picatta. We each gave the other half of our food. DD8 had the kids buffet which she loved. DD4 got a side of meat ball and we gave her food. I can't remember what DH got. The highlight of the meal was the table side bruchetta appetizer. They come to your table and mix the ingredients. They added some red pepper olives and panchetta to ours. That was very very good! The rest of the food was good on par or a bit better than olive garden. DH and I also split a bottle of wine. It was getting late and we headed back to the hotel. The kids and I chilled out and watched the Princess Diaries. DH went to the bar and met up with a child hood friend he hadn't seen in many years. He really enjoyed catching up with him. Tomorrow- more Islands of Adventure then its time to go home:sad1:

This was our check out day. That afternoon we had a flight home to Pittsburgh (this is not my photo)
untitled.png

We got up and packed up the last of our things and called bellhop. I asked DH to get the car. He wasn't feeling well and didn't want to go. I offered to go get it. He said we'd take the cart to the car. So bellhop came got the luggage but of course we were not allowed to take the cart. :headache: So we had to wait for DH to get the car, we packed the car and then had to repark the car. I considered taking it to city walk but DH thought that would be more hassle. So after all the fussing around we were late to see Harry! We arrived in the wizarding world at about 8:30. We had done Olivander's twice so we skipped on past it did have a line already. We headed to Hogwarts for the Forbidden Journey. What a ride! There are no comparisons. It is so fast and immersive you feel like it is really happening. There was no line and again we were sort of hurried through. Later in the morning we took the castle tour and really took our time. When we came out we had some souvenirs to buy for friends and today was our last chance to get them. Also our wise shopper DD8 still had $20 to spend from her own money. The wand from yesterday had been included in our souvenir family budget. Ha ha I knew we would need at least one!

We got the things for friends but DD8 did not spend. Then I bought a rock cake although they were not buy one get one free. It was like a giant stone shaped scone. In the movie this tastes bad but in the wizarding world it was tasty. Although I think I should have also bought the cauldron cake. Who says you shouldn't have cake for breakfast two days in a row? :rotfl2: We also got a butter beer. We sat at the owl post and had our little snack.

We rode the flight of the hippogrifth about a zillion more times to satisfy DD4.
Three broomsticks was open but uncrowded so we wandered in and took pictures. We went to the back to check out Hogshead.

Then we took the castle tour. All you do is tell the cm that you'd like to do the castle tour and they sort of send you through the Que but there is a different line. At this point it was after nine so all park quests were coming in. There was still no significant line for forbidden journey. As a regular park guest that arrives at 9 there should be no problem ridding forbidden journey with out a line. Olivanders seems to have at least some line even at 9. I would skip Olivander and do Forbidden Journey and then see if Olivanders' is tolerable or split them between two days. Here are some more pictures. We did the tour SLOWLY trying to get all the details. We also stooped to listen to Dumbledore, Ron, Harry and Hermoine.

The tour was great but it was time for us to say good bye to the Wizarding World! We headed over to Dr. Seuss and had a good time riding all DD4's favorites. Then we headed to Mytho's for lunch:woohoo: I was looking forward to this meal! We were HOT and hungry when we got there so I didn't take pictures. This is by far the neatest interior of a restaurant that we had gone to. I tend to avoid rainforest because its so darn loud. This was cool and quite! DD8 and DD4 got the one fish two fish ravioli . I got DD4 her own plate as I wasn't sure she would like the adult choices. DD8 went with Alfredo sauce. Both the red and white sauces were very good and the ravioli is shaped like fish. DD17 got a buffalo chicken wrap over mashed potatoes, DH got the salmon and I got the roman sandwich sandwich. I tried to find the exact menu items but Allears seems to have really old information from 2008. We all really really enjoyed our meals. This food wasn't too fancy but it was different and very well prepared. Our server was excellent and kept the drinks refilled. This was our best meal on Universal property. DD17 is the only one who had dessert. I was stuffed! We then head toward spider man. DH is a Dudley do right fan and he missed it the day before so He wanted to ride. No one wanted to be wet on the plane. We talked DD8 into going. DD4 and I got a bit damp at the water features in the cartoon land.
I am over my picture limit! see you in the next post.

Then we headed to Marvel land and we wanted to ride superman. I really liked this ride, I thought it was fun. DH said he was tired of being chased and attacked. Ha ha. DD8 really liked this one.
