Today has been packed at the park well for us anyways. Anyone know what today's park attendance would be classified as and will this weekdays be any better?? We plan to do Monday Tues Thurs and Fri. Although Fridays weather states 50+ mm for rain. We live on West coast so used to rain so should we do our last day in rain hell or wait and do Sat instead.

Also is there a list of rides closed in rain ? Is it worth doing a really rainy day??

Many schools have Monday, if ot the whole week off. Today and tomorrow should be busiest, but it won't be slow the rest of the week.

Rain? We usually throw a poncho on and keep going. We will be there Friday evening thru the weekend. Rides that go down.... Alice, Tea Cups (ground gets slippery) are among the few that do go down. Most rides keep running. You haven't rode Screamin' til you ride it in the pouring rain!!!!

Sundays are usually pretty popular. Our local district has the 17th as a pupil free day too. My family on Nor Cal has this whole week as their ski week. Between various school breaks, the start of AP days, Valentine's, people anticipating past "Love Week" promotions and the popularity of MSEP, I'd expect most of the week to have less of a drop off from Sunday attendance than you'd normally see.

We're in NorCal and have this Monday off as well as the 20th, so it would make sense for both weekends to be pretty packed. We'll be down ourselves next weekend.

Friday could be a drencher with an inch plus.

Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday wet and cool (highs in lower 60's 1/3 inch of rain).

Or it could be 90 with blazing Santa Ana's.

Most of us Californians are pretty sure we'd melt like the Wicked Witch in the rain so it might be a great park day. The more water falling from the sky the fewer crowds! BUT research out which rides close in rain. If all your favorites are closed then it would be a wasted day for you. (If the ride is at all outside it can close down.)

On Friday the crowds didn't really clear out until it was obvious that nighttime shows would be canceled. It seemed busy all day. It was the first day of AP days. Next Friday will be the first day of the new week of AP days, people will come back for that.

I was kind of shocked at crowds this weekend. No, I lie, I wasn't because it's been more packed than usual thanks, I think, to MSEP, but nonetheless...

Some local districts (most if I can remember) do not have this week off. Most only have 2/20 for President's Day. But, there will be people traveling from districts that do the entire week, which btw, as a teacher and a parent, I am super jealous of. It won't be as packed as a summer day and it shouldn't be as bad on Wednesday or Thursday, but in general, it will be crowded. Get there early. Get a lot done in the morning. Around 2, crowds tend to be the worst. We usually take that time to leave if we're on a day-trip or go to the hotel to rest for a bit. Then go back around 4, grab some dinner, and start looking for a spot for the parade/fireworks if that's your kind of thing. If you aren't into the nighttime entertainment, just be prepared to move like fish swimming in a current all in the same direction and know that you might not be able to get to where you want to go. I think my motto these days is "be flexible" because honestly, it's just how things are now.

Some Advice:
Get to the entrance gates 30 minutes before the park opens
Visit the park that does not have Early Entry if you do not have access to Early Entry
Take a mid-afternoon break then come back at night when the crowds are lower

Off the top of my head on which attractions are closed during the rain

DCA:
- Radiator Springs Racers, it sometimes works, but most of the time it is not working.
- Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
- Luigi's Roadsters
- Lady Bug Boogie
- Golden Zephyr
- Symphony Swings
- Jumpin Jellyfish

DL:
- Teacups
- Alice in Wonderland
- Autopia

*** In my opinion, it is better to visit Disneyland in the rain than it is DCA, since DL has more indoor attractions
