Here now...Heavy Crowds!

Here now! Crowd levels according to Easywdw was a 4 today. Crowds seem more like summer crowds to me. What happened to the light crowds in May? Still having a good time but I think everyone is now reading the disboards and checking sites like touring plans and easywdw so now everybody wants to go on the days when they say low crowds until these are no longer light crowds any more. Anybody else here getting the same vibes?

Which park are you at and was it recommended? We went to DHS on Sunday. Predicted 5, Most recommended. Didn't feel like summer crowds at all.

This is sad news We'll be there on the 14th, and I'm slightly terrified, as we had to go against the park recommendations for one day - the crowd is supposed to be at a 7 we couldn't make our plans work any other way, so...we'll just have to make the best of it!

We were at MK today from rope drop to just before 5. I'm used to crowds from early Dec or early Jan. Crowds were a bit more. Mine Train, Big Thunder, and Peter Pan had long waits of 45-60 min.

But people and cast members were friendly.

I've seen a couple of pictures of Epcot today- lines were pretty short.

We've been many times in January and September and have noticed increasing crowds during these slowest times, so I think the crowds are just increasing all year long. Whatever the crowd is now, I'm sure it will be worse in the summer. Just be thankful! A "4" doesn't mean not crowded. It just means less crowded than a 10. Even on the "1" week in January this last year, it still benefited our family to plan our days. The parks were far from empty!

the wait times for lines don't seem TOO long at any of the parks.
30 minutes for space mountain, RNRC, soarin, and TT at about 6:30pm.

i was there 3 weeks ago and experienced pretty much those wait times.
the parks seemed a bit crowded with people but it seemed like most were walking around and not standing in line.
maybe THAT is what you're experiencing?

Don't panic. Go have a dole whip and you'll feel better. If you're at Epcot walk over BC and get a kitchen sink.

I thought Mk crowds were pretty low today. Was also at MK last night and was able to pull FP 4, 5, and 6 after 730 pm. Walked on splash at 945 pm

My boss just got back Monday and said it was crowded last week. I just think there are no slow times anymore. I thought September was crowded, but I also remember septembers being walk on anything all day, so that's what I call slow. I haven't seen that in 10 years

We've been going in Sept for the last 12 years and every year it is more crowded than the year before. I also remember walking on rides and no lines. It seems there are no slow times anymore cause Disney has offered different discounts for the "slow" times to fill the hotels and parks.

I think it depends on each person's idea of "crowded". I have been down and felt that the parks were not crowded and manageable... only to come home and see people on the boards talk about how crowded the parks were the same exact time I was there.

One thing I know I read on Josh's site is that crowd levels (4, 5, 6, whatever) are not historical representations, but they are related to this year's attendance.

So a 4 in 2015 would have been an 8 in 2010 due to the increased attendance the past 5 years.

Tell my five year old that.

I used touring plans. They predicted a 6, said it ended up being a 3. Either way, it was enough for me to never ever ever book a trip here at a peak time.
