I had the same problems on my trip and I resented having to waste my valuable vacation time standing in line for 45 minutes at guest services. The app and website were working fine prior to my arrival at the park.
I really find this unacceptable. Disney guests invest a lot of time and money on a vacation to WDW. When I'm there, I want to enjoy my surroundings, my family, and the wonderful details that make WDW so special. I don't want to spend time on a malfunctioning app or website, I do enough of this at work!
