We just left MK. Been here since 9am. Didnt get to ride much. The lines have been 25 minutes to over 1.5hrs.

Ive never been this time of year but I wasnt expecting this wait time for the rides. Needless to say we have a bunch of unhappy campers in my group. Sure hope the crowds die down.

Sounds like the new normal. 25 mins is not bad at all. There is another thread about the crowds and I think the consensus is that it is still low crowds, like I said, it's the new normal, no more slow times. It's probably one of the slowest times still. I also said, as I said on the other thread, many many people are making "special" trips to see the osborn lights one more time, so that is making it a bit more crowded IMO. I have seen so many posts on this and other Disney boards about people doing one last trip to see the lights, or families who never saw the lights before are making a special trip to see them.

We've been here many times in November. Never seen it this crowded. It compared to Easter 3 years ago.

25 minutes isn't that long of a wait. That the expectation for this time of year. Adjust accordingly.

25-90 min is typical.

We've been here since Tuesday. Found the weekdays ok for wait times but Saturday jumped up with people. Still having a great time!

We have been in september 3x and honestly i have never waited longer than 10 minutes for anything.

We will have adjust accordling but i figured it would not be THIS busy.

OP--What time of year do you usually go to experience wait times of less than 25 minutes on average?
Op did not say waits were 25 minutes on average. They gave a range that started at 25 minutes.

But they seem to think that that is an excessive time to wait, which leads me to think they typically have wait times that are shorter.

If 25 minutes was the shortest wait time I could find I would probably not be happy with that either.

And for me it would be acceptable. Which is why I asked when they usually go that the lines are consistently lower than 25 minutes. Apparently neither of my go to months, October and May.

I understand long lines but how can you have unhappy campers. They are not at school you are not at work you are in FL where the weather is outstanding and the only thing you have to worry about is how long the line will be. I will tried places with you right now!!! *S

I'm guessing whenever they typically go they are used to short waits and are able to do ride after ride after ride. Going when the parks are busy is probably a shock.

Fp makes the lines longer for everyone. I imagine that just about everyone entering the parks these days have their three Fp's. More fp's = longer standby waits.

Next week (M-F) should be quieter, i would expect. This is the last weekend of F&W with the Osborne lights and MVMCP already started so lots happening to bring folks in. So heavy crowds not very surprising.
Wed was veterans day so taking Thursday and Friday off would give you a mini week 5 days with only 2 vacation days from work.
Kenny the Pirate's pirate:crowd calendar had today being HEAVY Crowds probably for all the reasons noted above.
Folks will start arriving in earnest on the 21st and then thanksgiving crazy :)
That's when I will be there with tens of thousands of my closest friends!

Every weekend during F&W will be crowded. And 25 minutes is subjective. If its 25 minutes for any of the mountains or 7DMT that's great. 25 minutes for Stitch or Small World, then its crowded.

I've never seen crowds like this at wdw. Disney springs at 1:00 in the afternoon today was busier than I've seen it on Friday nights. The earl of sandwich line went out the door all the way back to once upon a toy!!

That said I found the ride wait times to be overinflated. In every case that I noticed (3 times) the wait time was from start to making it into the closest bathroom after riding the ride, lol.

25 mins is nothing OP, but I do understand what you are saying after being there myself one Sept and walking on almost everything except Peter Pan and Mine Train, just a word of advice, never go in the summer (esp July 4th) or NYE lol!:crazy2:
