At least for my town. My girlfriend was approached by a member of our city council this weekend. Apparently there are 4 vacancies on the board this coming election and he thought she would fit into one of them nicely. So he asked her to run. I kind of giggled because between her and I , I am the outspoken one. However she is the one that can make everyone get along.

So he thinks that our council needs a 29 year old lesbian on the board to shake up our small town! I guess we will see come fall if she wins.

That’s the good news...the bad news if she does win it is a 4 year term and I may not be able to plan vacations exactly when I want them! (although the $ she is paid…over 25 dollars a month will help pay for them)
Oh well, she is excited to try this and I am right behind her all the way!

Well so far we got most of the signatures needed to be placed on the ballot...... in 2 days not bad
