Regular gas starts at about $3.05 on up but doesn't mean it will be that when you get here - start with Ractrac and then there is a little mom and pop gas station about 1/2 miles South of the Radisson on the left side and usually he is a little less expensive then everyone else.

Just a bit of information to add about the Raddison at the port, we emailed them to ask a few questions and they told us they do not have any rooms that has a view of the port anymore since 2 new hotels are blocking the view.

Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention - I just made a copy of it and sent it over to Joe P the GM who will know for sure the information is correct and the reason I did this is that the front desk were telling guest they didn't have shuttle service etc. I will post whatever JP says and if it comes from him, then it is the truth also the new hotels would not be the ones that would be blocking the view, I believe its those million dollar condos that are doing it. anyhow let me see what I can find out.

Dear Shirley – sorry about the delay here – but I have been out and still am from work with a detached retina and there have been some problems.

But there are some rooms where you can see the ships – but none that have a wide open view of the port any more.

When I first looked at my condo over 10 years ago, the one and only thing that really had me sold is that I could walk outside to the front of the condo and have an 180 degree look of the Atlantic Ocean - I felt like I was home again in Key West - Now I am fortunate/blessed that I can see through slits to see the ocean. I also could sit in the back patio and almost have a clear view of the port. I can still see all the ships, but not the entire scenery I once had - same with everyone - The new condos that have been built in and around the Radisson is the reason the sight of the port is almost gone.
Sorry that so much has become so built up and nothing is really filled or sold.
