We are planning on going to the HRH for May 8 and 9th possible May 7th
then onward to the BCV for the rest of the week.

Can someone give me some advice.
we will need airfare Hotel at HRH and a car.
sometimes there are Pkgs out there that lump them all together
right now there are not any pkgs out yet- too early
Is it better to try and get a ent rate or do a pkg say through
AAA or Bj's
does anyone have any experience in this?
got itchy britches to book something but the rates right now are terrible for HRH.

I always book the lowest rate I can then keep checking back for packages and special discounts. You usually have up until 5 days prior to your arrival to cancel hotel reservations.

To compare a package vs. an a la carte vacation you just have to do the calculations and see which comes out the lowest. If you want to go for the cheapest amount of $$ then booking everything yourself using deep discounts like the entertainment rate often works best - but not always! If you are more interested in special services (free breakfast or a club room for instance) then many times the packages will save you money. It can be really time consuming checking all the different sites (hotwire, hotel kingdom, Universal Official, these boards, etc...). If you don't have the time or don't enjoy doing the research a good travel agent could save you hundreds!

As for airfare just keep watching fares so you'll know a good deal when you see one. Southwest runs some great promotions but it takes time and research to know when you are getting a great deal. For instance BOS-MCO usually goes for about $200 r-t. When I saw a flight on Southwest for $148 r-t I booked it immediately. Of course I may not have gotten the cheapest airfare but I know I got a really good deal. Know your market!
