Help with multiple resort stay confusion

Hi! I was originally looking to rent DVC points for 5 nights/2 bedroom BLT and put in a request with David's. Then a friend who is a castmember made us a reservation with her discount but could only get a 1 bedroom at BVC and we upped it to 6 nights and added the meal plan. Now the DVC point rental came through.

We def want the 5 nights at the BLT but we still want to get a sixth night. If I can't rent points and decide to keep 1 night at BCV how does that work? Do I need two separate meal plans (1 for 1 night + 1 for 5 nights)? Can I somehow link the reservations? I can call for the castmember one but can I link that to the DVC one?

We would be starting at the BCV, so my plan would be to pack a one night bag for the 5 of us and leave the rest in the car. Then drive to BLT in the morning and park until check in, so I don't think we'd need the bellhop to even move bags (if they do that resort to resort).

1. One night at BCV, followed by 5 nights at BLT are 2 completely separate reservations and there would be no way to link them. You would need two separate dining plans, although you wouldn't need to add tickets with the BLT reservation since you are renting points.

2. If you are leaving your luggage in the car, you won't need anyone to move the bags because you'll have them with you when you check into BLT. You can check in any time after 6 AM. Your room may not be ready, but you'll be able to activate the dining plan associated with the BLT stay and get your parking permit.
