Help with minivan rental

If anyone could help with a minivan rental for May 5th pick up at MCO at 10am and drop off MCO May 15th at 6pm...I've been trying different company's and different codes but they are all $700 and up any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

My family and I are leaving the first week of April and we too have not had any luck with getting a real good price on a minivan either! We have a minivan booked through Alamo (They seem to have the best price for us) and we are still hoping that maybe we could get lucky and get one of those Last Minute Deals they talk about ... so far ... nope ... nothing for Orlando Airport!

We are paying about $750 for a mini for 16 days ... which you might think is good but it is still about $200 more than we paid last year.

I was able to find a mini van (or intermediate van for the same price) for your dates through Thrifty or Dollar for $286/week which would be $628.57 for your entire trip. You can find it at http://www.carrentalsavers.com/florida-car-rental.html

Not a lot of savings, but its better than $700! I just keep booking and cancelling (no credit card hold) until I find the price that I want, so keep looking there. They usually go down even more.

Just plugged in your dates using BCD code X474200 on budgets website and it would give you a total of $528.07 with taxes. From everything I have read on these boards, that code is a travelocity public code and should not present any problems. if you have an entertainment book there is an additional $25 or $30 coupon as well.

We had the same issue with our March minivan rental - all the original quotes were over $600.

My advice is to keep checking this board and others boards (mousesavers for example) weekly. As the trip gets closer, check for codes daily. I found a code the week before we left that brought our price down to $288 for an 8 day minivan rental including taxes through National.

hotwire.com has a rate of $596 incl. all taxes/fees for your dates and times. no coupon or club membership required but you do have to pay up front so no refunds.

I had a van reserved from Dollar - 5/22 pick up at 10 am and drop off on 5/29 at 6 pm for 486.00 - then I tried priceline got one from Avis (in airport terminal) for the same time without any coupon codes for 28 a day. True it isn't as long as you need but try Priceline for 28.00 a day - it was over 100.00 cheaper.
