I would like to make my own scavenger hunt (hopefully 1 for each park and maybe for resort)! :cheer2: I would love some tips and advise from any of you that have done this! :cloud9: These will be mainly for my ds9! :Pinkbounc Any ideas/suggestions welcomed! :cheer2:

Collect the hundreds of pressed pennies throughout the parks (and resorts)...collecting all Toy Story characters, or 7 dwarfs, etc. should keep anyone entertained and interested in all areas of WDW you hope to travel through.

seeing who can find the most Hidden Mickey's....or finding out where certain hidden mickeys are at (certain rides, parks, resorts, ect) and telling him There is one hidden mickey here...see if you can find it.... Just a thought, Have Great Time,

Charles, Val and Emmy

YOu could do a picture scavenger hunt---example, pic with all the Toy story Characters, pic of the hidden mickey on a dinosaur, pic "wearing" the wizard hat at MGM :wizard: , etc. You could even assign points and then give a prize for achieving different levels of points--Disney Dollars? Sounds like fun and right up my alley!!! :teeth:

During our trip to Epcot at the beginning of the month, I did one that I had read somewhere. We gave each of the kids $20. Their goal was to go to each pavilion (except for the US) and buy candy made from that country. They were to get enough to share and try to not go over the $20 if possible. Also, they had to each get a different item. We had a riot! We actually went into all of those little shops that we always walk by. We talked to CMs, asking them about the best candy, etc. It was really fun and the kids did pretty well at sticking to the $20 rule. We are still eating the candy since we have been back. We pick one country a night and taste the candy from there. I asked them if they wanted to do it again next year -- YEP! We are thinking of changing the rules slightly to make it just chocolate items or something similiar. It was great fun and only cost me $40 plus no one was asking for other souvenirs.

Thanks for all the great ideas! :Pinkbounc I know my ds will really love the candy one! :cheer2:

I really liked the candy idea in EPCOT. How old were your children when they did it? Trying to see if dd will understand and have fun at it.

Try the Disney Family Magic Tour...it's a scavenger hunt throughout Magic Kingdom...tour guide and surprise ending! He'll have a ball, and so will you (if you choose to participate and not be one of those parent's who say oh, this is for the kids to do...I'll watch!)
