Help with Genie + at Disney

I purchased genie plus early this AM

planning to go to MK with an arrival time if 4 pm ish. I want to start booking demise plus with times of after 3 pm, but you can’t choose an arrival window.

how do you or what strategies do you use to book genie plus latter in the day ?

Return times for attractions have not been past 1:20

Was able to book paid ILL for mine train between 4 and 5

For the regular Genie+ rides, since you can't select a time, all you can do is keep checking back to see when the return times are late enough in the day for you. Eventually they will be pushed out later in the day.

why do the times fluxalate so much ?Is Disney releasing time slots in batches ? For example Peter Pan has continuously fluctuated with arrival windows bouncing between 10 am and 1:20 pm for the last hour. It would seem times would only increase to latter in the day & not bounce around

Probably someone cancelled an earlier one so it popped back into the list as the next available time. Be aware, I've heard a lot of people comment that by the time they select the G+ time and check-out, the time has shifted to later. So the return time you see/choose and the return time you actually get assigned may not be the same.

Possibly cancellations, as part of the explanation but it seems with the quantity of time fluctuations i just observed I have difficulty believing that cancellations are the only explanation. IMHO Disney is releasing availability in batches, but I do not know that for certain

I would love genie + if you could choose your return window like you can for individual lightening lane purchases
