Help with Easy project for third grader

I was going to say the paper snowflakes too. We are doing that with our Brownie troop next week!

Also, check out orientaltrading.com. They have ornament kits and other crafts for like .33 per project. It's easy, if it fits your budget. You could also probably do knockoffs of their projects with construction paper if you were inclined to cut the pieces out yourself.

Cut gingerbread shapes out of cardboard. Have them decorate with puffy paint. Put a magnet on the back for a refrigerator magnet or hang with a ribbon for an ornament.

If you can gather enough empty square Kleenex boxes, you can cut the Kleenex box in the shape of a sleigh, paint it red or whatever color you want the sleigh to be, punch two holes in the bottom and insert candy canes for the runners. It can be used as a candy dish.

I agree with checking out FamilyFun.com, it is a wonderful website for crafts!

You can buy some candy canes, brown pipe cleaners, tiny red pompoms, and some googly eyes and make Rudolph candy canes for the tree.
That was going to be my suggestion.
