I am wanting to order a diaper bag from Lands End and cant decide between the Do It All and the Little Tripper. I am trying to figure out just how big the Do It All really is. I dont like a huge diaper bag, and will be nursing so will only need to pack diapers, wipes, paci, and maybe a change of clothes. Can anyone give me their opinions on these bags- pros and cons?
When I look up the size it says the Do It All is 15W x 11 1/2H x 10 1/4D and the Little Tripper is 13W x 10 1/2H x 4 3/4D. The depth seems to be the major difference.
Thanks for the help

I haven't seen those bags so I had to look when I read your thread. I like the little tripper, it looks big enough but not too bulky! I think I'll get one of those if I can find a free shipping or discount code! :thumbsup2

I actually had the Little Tripper when my DD(now 8) was about a year old and liked it. I just dont know if it will be big enough to get me started with a newborn. I have been looking for a discount/shipping code, but have not been able to find one. Someone did post a while back that if you ordered through the computer at Sears they will ship it to the store and you wont have to pay shipping.

I have to do it all bag.. I dont like it as a diaper bag. I bought it in the outlet section 2 years ago for 10.00. I used it to put all of my girl stuff things in for meeting.

I bought the diaper backpack at the same time. I love it. 2 years and its still going strong.

I had both of those bags when my boys were little. The Little Tripper is quite small for a diaper bag. It's good for quick trips out, and would probably be adequate while your baby is small.

However, when the baby gets older and you have to start carting food and bibs or are going to be gone for longer periods you'll need a bigger bag (at least I did).

Also consider whether you're planning on having more babies in the next few years--the Little Tripper definitely gets too small when you have to cart stuff around for 2 little ones.

If I had it to do over, I'd want the Little Tripper and the backpack version.

I had both and really only used the Little Tripper. I wasn't one to carry a huge bag so that worked fine. Held diapers, travel wipes, smaller extra outfit (I always keep extra diapers and clothes in the car), snacks, little toys and my billfold just fine.

have you checked out baggalinis? I used the mess bag for WDW and was amazed at everything it held. I am a person that has to have a place for everything and they are loaded with pockets and pouches. While not a diaper bag it was amazing. The mess bag which is smaller than the reg bag held

8 diapers size 5
pack travel wipes
change clothes size 2T
sippy cup
sunbloack
snacks
crayons and paper
very small toy (car)
wallet
wipes for me
keys
sunglasses
fem. products

And I still had room. Now I'm expecting my second and I will buy the over shoulder for everyday. If you go to ebags they show a very detailed picture.

Either way good luck, a good diaper is essential!

I had the Do it All bag and it is HUGE...more of an overnight type diaper bag. I never carried around as a daily bag because it was just too huge. (the size of a small-medium duffle bag) But I agree, the Little Tripper is almost too little for newborn/infant...it would work great for a one year + child.

I still have both of mine 11 years later. The do it all is really big. I used it when I had 2 in diapers and would be gone all day but for the most part I used the little tripper. I still use the do it all for vacation as my carry on.

I had both bags. For quick trips the little tripper is great! For larger trips (ie. traveling, weekend getaway, etc.) I used the larger bag. They were great! I passed them down to my sister and she used them for her two kids. So, they withheld 3 kids! Great bags!

Lands Ends bags are indestructable!!!

I had the larger bag and that one bag lasted through my 3 kids' toddlerhood. (I got it in navy so it stayed decent looking.)

Once they got past infancy, it was great having a bag big enough to carry 2 sets of diapers, bottles/sippy cups, changes of clothes and some toys and stuff.

We have the Do It All bag for one kid and I think it is perfect. When he was very little, it wasn't always full, but now that we cart along sippy-cups, snacks, a change of clothes, a couple of little toys, etc, I really like the size. I like the light interior (seems minor, but it really is easy to see what's in the bag that way), the wide opening is perfect, it has good interior pockets, and I often use the exterior zipper pocket to put my stuff in instead of also carrying a purse.

The straps are adjustable, and set at a long length, I am able to hook the bag around the handles of my stroller perfectly.

And it is not too "girly" so DH will carry it without complaint.

Well I have had the do it all, the little tripper and the Backpack. The backpack wins hands down for us. It is a great bag even when they are out of diapers for toddler gear and carrying around snacks and drinks for the road.
The do it all is BIG! I never ever filled it up. The Little tripper was good for quick trips to the store ect. but not a whole day trip. The backpack was really a just right size for us(I was a breastfeeder too)

This may sound dumb - but which would you recommend for an almost 4 year old that is out of diapers - but we still need a change of clothes, sunscreen - other park stuff that I'm willing to leave in a bag at the stroller? Also - will the little tripper fit in the basket of a Maclaren Quest?

It's a good bag for your needs, but won't fit in the basket of a Mac when it is packed full (which it probably will be with the change of clothes). The Mac basket won't hold much as far as bags go, unless you use a few grocery bags and stuff each of them in there (which may work for your minimal needs).

I also had both and mostly just used the little tripper. It fit six diapers, a travel wipes case, an extra outfit and a small bottle bag with an ice pak.

My eldest just turned 6yo last week. Before she was born we purchased the Lil Tripper and the Do It All. We used the Lil Tripper 90% of the time.

When she was 17mo she went to WDW for the first time and we purchased the backpack diaper bag... I never looked at the Do It All again!

For every day I used the Lil Tripper and day long trips or vacations, definitely the backpack hands down.

We now have #2. Ds is almost 20mo and again we used the Lil Tripper a lot in the beginning but now I've been using the backpack almost all the time.

I  LE bags and recommend them to everyone I know that is having a baby!!

Wow, Ive been gone all day and just got back to see all the posts. Thanks for the great advice. I guess I will go back and check out the backpack. Havent even noticed that one. I was afraid the Do It All would be too big. I dont like carrying something that looks like a suitcase. Thanks again- Im back to Landsend.com!!

I would highly recommend the backpack. We have three kids and have gone through many diaper bags. Three summers ago I ordered the backpack for a trip to Disney. We have not used anything else since. My son is three and now out of diapers and we still keep it in the car. It is great for spare clothes for him and first aid items, etc. We just used it on our thirteen day trip to the world. I don't think we will ever stop using it.

Is the backpack smaller than the Do It All? I went and looked at it on the web site and it still looks kind of big. Do you tend to have things get "lost" at the bottom of the bag, or are there lots of pockets inside it? Thats a concern I have with a backpack. I wish there was a bag in between the Do It All and the Little Tripper. Maybe the backpack is and I just cant tell. Thanks again

By the way, this is our last baby as our others are 17,12 and 8 so I dont have extra kids to pack for in the same bag
