Help with deciding between april and may!

For the past 3 years we have vacationed in WDW during january. We liked the crowd levels and the weather was not an important factor....until now. We just got back from the last week in january. We took our 8 month old son and we had to bundle him up pretty good.

Now we have decided to go back in 2009, either in late april or anytime in may. Our thoughts are that this will be after all the spring breaks and before schools let out for the summer.

Our home resort is Boardwalk Villas so we would probably want a standard view one bedroom for 10 days (although we have enough points for any view type).

What are your thoughts on: Availability, crowd levels, weather, etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The 11 month window should put you in good stead for what you want, and I can tell you that we always like January, but we LOVED early May last year, and have decided to alternate January and May. In fact, next year we plan to do both January and May!

I agree on early May! Many schools have off the 4th week of April, so very late April or early May.

Well it's decided! Early may it is.

My wife is pregnant again, so I will have one son that is 2 years old and one child that is 8 months. The warmer weather will be a blessing. Plus, splash mountain won't be closed for the second year in a row.
