We are going to be traveling to Disney Aug 29th to Sept 6th so far this is what I plan to make for adrs please let me know what you think

50's Prime Time
Mama Melrose
Coral Reef
Whispering Canyon
Boatwright (this is where we will be saying)
Liberty Tree Tav
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickeys Breakfast
Yak and Yeti

We are traveling me my husband and three girls ages 14,7, and 4 Do you have any better options?:wizard:

Mixed reviews on Yak & Yeti. I would suggest Tusker House
Coral Reef - the food is not worth the expensive price. The view is the only reason to go there. There are much better restaurants in this park.
I think you will enjoy the rest of your choices.

Do you really need two TS meals in DHS? If you're planning two days there, it's fine, but I wouldn't park hop just to eat there.

Coral Reef doesn't get the most favourable reviews. Mama Melrose seems to be a love it or hate it place as well.

50's Prime Time: I loathe this place. I find the food mediocre and the schtick downright annoying. However, mine is a minority veiw so....

Mama Melrose: Its OK. Probably the better choice for the Fantasmic Dinner Package

Coral Reef: I don't eat seafood so I can't help

Whispering Canyon: Good and fun

Boatwright (this is where we will be saying): Not a fan.

Liberty Tree Tav: Also, not a fan. This used to be much better before the change to family style

Crystal Palace: Good

Chef Mickeys Breakfast: This used to be my favorite character breakfast until I did 'ohana for the first time. Still, a good choice IMO

Yak and Yeti:Sit down meals are fine here, the CS however, stinks on ice

50's Prime Time - Love this place. The interaction with the cast members and other guests is hysterical especially when you know that some of the other guests didn't know what they were in for. If you don't like to really get into the show and would rather be left alone to eat then I would skip eating here. The pot roast is excellent and people live and die by their fried chicken.

Mama Melrose - Have never eaten here.

Coral Reef - decent food, a bit pricey, fun to watch the fish.

Whispering Canyon - Have never eaten here.

Boatwright (this is where we will be saying) - Have never eaten here.

Liberty Tree Tav - ate here last October. They have stopped the character dining so I hope that's not what you were looking for. If so then you need to find another restaurant. Good food. I don't know what they put in the mashed potatoes but I asked for another bowl.

Crystal Palace - We eat here once, twice, sometimes three times a trip for breakfast. Have never eaten here for dinner. But we love the CP breakfast. The Breakfast lasganga is probably the best thing in the whole WDW complex. Well one of the best.

Chef Mickeys Breakfast - decent breakfast, huge restaurant. I felt that the characters seemed a bit rushed versus some of the other character breakfasts.

Yak and Yeti - have only eaten at the CS. Decent food. Something different than burgers, pizza and barbecue fot he CS. The pics I've seen of the TS seem nice.

Some other suggestions:
MK: Tony's is great and you can get a decent view of the parade if you time a lunch ressie right.
DHS: nothing to add.
Epcot: I love Marrakesh. Great food and fun entertainment. The food is not as adventurous as it sounds.
AK: TS at AK is new and I've never eaten at any TS restaurant in AK. We usually stick to Flame Tree.

50's Prime Time- Never been. Trying the first time on May! I can't wait.
Mama Melrose- never been
Coral Reef- LOVE it!!! Best steak I have had so far on Disney property (flavor wise)
Whispering Canyon- never been
Boatwright (this is where we will be saying)- never been
Liberty Tree Tav-never been
Crystal Palace- Love it!!! Love breakfast and dinner
Chef Mickeys Breakfast- OMG LOVE IT!! SO GOOD
Yak and Yeti- never been

50's Prime Time - never been there before, but we've booked it for our upcoming trip in June.
Mama Melrose - we've eaten here several times and it's always been great!
Coral Reef - we love this restaurant. It's been consistently very good.
Whispering Canyon - lots of fun! Kids will love it. The food is good, too!
Boatwright (this is where we will be saying) - Yawn! Never been there. I'd skip this one even if it is convenient because you're staying there. Too many great TS restaurants on property at which to dine. I'd suggest Teppan Edo, Le Cellier, or Kona Cafe instead.
Liberty Tree Tav - dined there once during Christmas 2008. Thought it was great, but they no longer have characters there at dinner.
Crystal Palace - never been there.
Chef Mickeys Breakfast - never been there.
Yak and Yeti - eaten there twice and it was very good!

I just wanted to add a different opinion of Boatwrights. We LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it.

Hadn't planned to eat there but we overslept one morning and missed one of our ADR's so we needed something last minute. We tried a few times to get another ADR at some of the places on our "back-up" list with no luck. We too were staying at POR so I sent DH down to see if they had an opening for dinner. We got in right after they opened. Our server was great and the food was some of the best we had on property.
DH and DS ordered steak and said it was one of the best they'd ever had. I ordered Jambalaya and it was great. As good or better than I had in New Orleans. It was very quiet there and gave us a nice chance to relax.

We also ate at Whispering Canyon (dinner) and I thought Boatwrights was much better. Food and service.
