Okay so I have *ahem* 29 days until my Disneymoon!!! 8 nights at CBR and I can't wait!! I even scheduled in relax time (haha...note the word scheduled...) :rotfl2:

Anywayyyy

So here are my plans for dining (NOT on the dining plan, as I much prefer TS & drinks!!!)

Day 1: Lunch: Rainforest Cafe (I know I know...but it's a favorite ok!! But hoping for Yak & Yeti instead)
Dinner: Jiko (SO excited for this) :cool1:

Day 2: Lunch: San Angel Inn
Dinner: resort or CS before MVMCP

Day 3: Bkfst: CRT (SO excited!) princess:
Dinner: California Grille :cheer2:

Day 4: day at Discovery Cove - no ADRs (could do a late dinner ADR though, bsfst & lunch are included at DC)

Day 5: Lunch: Brown Derby (since I missed out on Lunch w/ an Imagineer :sad1: )
Dinner: Citricos

Day 6: Dinner at House of Blues before Cirque

Day 7: Lunch at Le Cellier
Dinner at Rose & Crown

Day 8: Leaving late, no ADRs

So...question...I was thinking Boma would be fun for breakfast and Artist Point for a dinner. But do I have enough ADRs already without overdoing it? I don't want to feel stuffed so I tried to keep things not TOO scheduled. Any help would be appreciated :yay:

I'd just pop in to Rainforest for the drink and maybe a snack at the bar rather than table meal as think service is always better at bar.

Nice choice good location and OK food

Oh really good choices.

Day 4: day at Discovery Cove - no ADRs (could do a late dinner ADR though, bsfst & lunch are included at DC)
From what I remember from when I went (did the evening one) there was loads of food and Anheuser Bush drinks so all good.

Day 5: Lunch: Brown Derby (since I missed out on Lunch w/ an Imagineer :sad1: )
Dinner: Citricos
I'm sad over that too! Still haven't managed to get it! Wanted to do Lunch with an Artisit the year they finished that!
Brown Derby is great for lunch (Cobb Salad yummy).
Never been to Citricos but its meant to be nice

Day 6: Dinner at House of Blues before Cirque
OK personally I wasn't fussed on House of Blues but then again I hated Bongos and Wolf Gang Puck so not much round that end of Downtown Disney. I think its just Im a fussy eater but did think it was just your average burger joint (all I'd eat off the menu) and so prefer Planet Hollywood as they do great drinks

Day 7: Lunch at Le Cellier
Dinner at Rose & Crown
Two great choices. Arrive at Rose and Crown early and ask for an outside table. Nothings guarenteed but its always worth asking just incase.

Overall some nice choices. Just one note though, you have no evening meal planned for MGM. Are you going to see Fantasmic or give it a miss? Or is your Citricos reservation late so going there before it? Just curious

Boma's for breakfast you could do on the last day couldn't you? Would give you a good meal before you travel home.
I personally love Artist Point. Wasn't overly fused by California Grill but as said fussy eater so... I would say the only way to fit this in would be to replace one of the other meals. If you did it on the day of Discovery Cove I think you'd be too stuffed to enjoy it. You could change Citricos to this instead which I think would be the only one other than California Grill I would say to change. It is well worth going to just for the Mushroom soup and Buffallo steak. Best meal I've had on Disney property.

They sound good.

I hope you spread lunch and dinner out...ie noon lunch....and
maybe 7pm dinner....

Nothing worse than not being hungry for a meal you have been
anticipating.
Enjoy
Kerri

I know, I know an unhealthy obsession with Rainforest has nothing to do with the food. But our closest one is over an hour away...so I gotta make it (like I said, hoping for Yak & Yeti instead- love asian fusion)

San Angel Inn is def all about the location too. Margaritas are all I'm looking for there :rotfl:

I looove Cali Grille and it has sort of become my DH's and my "spot" each time we visit. Food is decent, drinks are great, and the view is spectacular!

I wanted to try out a restaurant at the GF, so I chose Citricos bc I don't eat seafood or meat (just chicken breast! but I love flavor so I love trying new restaurants and WILL try anything once).

Good to hear about DC - I can't wait. We're going during the day tho but I heard the food and drinks are fantastic and plentiful (did I mention free drinks :cool1: ) hahaha...yea it's our honeymoon - we're allowed!!!

I hated Bongos and I was just looking for something at DTD before Cirque so we weren't rushing from some other resort before the show. I thought it'd work okay just for the one evening. PH has terrible food if I remember correctly, and Wolfgang was my other option but due to above (no seafood, red meat...) there isn't much for me ...

Thanks for the suggestion for Rose & Crown! MGM---I can never stay an entire day there. Plan to be there morning & early afternoon, then relax @ resort and then go out to dinner elsewhere. (Citricos). I can hit up fantasmic another day, as I do have 3 unplanned day :confused3 that I had to put in there for my DH (although those will be used to visit parks again, do mickey boats/ surreys, shop, etc hehehe)

Artist Point was my only one I wasn't sure about. I'm from the Pacific Northwest, and the one thing that has me drooling over the menu is that mushroom soup. DH doesn't seem to care either way (ugh). I was also thinking a potential early dinner on our last day (I think we leave Disney around 6...???) ANd we'll have a car. Gotta look into that. Thanks for the info about DC tho, I won't make a ADR for that night then.

Oh and yes I certainly spaced things out - when I have lunch & dinner ADRs one's for 11:30 or so, and the other is for 8pm (around that time). Figured that'd be sufficient time to get hungry again!!

Thanks!!!

UPDATE Just looked and we don't fly out until 9:50 PM the last day...soooo I called and made an ADR at Artist Point for 5:40. Thought it'd make a nice end to the trip!! :)

Great! I'm not a big Meat eater (like you it tends to be chicken breast though will have steak occassionally and bacon) and don't eat fish but I have to say the food at Artist Point is fantastic. The Buffallo steak I was talked in to by the waiter and it was lovely (quite sweet really which was weird) but there was loads of choice and the chicken on the menu when I went (I think it was rotisserie with a maple glaze) was also yummy.
