Help with a reveal.

Hi all i'm looking for inspiration! I have previously done a surprise trip for my children in 2011. (in my sig)

We've told our children (now 15,12,8,5) That we can't go back to Florida until after we move house. WE HAVE BOOKED FOR THIS XMAS AS A SURPRISE!

Because we have done a reveal before i'm really struggling to think of a way to let them know, on the evening before, which will keep them guessing until the end!

Any ideas will be very welcome! We are staying at a hotel in MAN airport the night before so want to reveal then jump in the car and get going.

What about a treasure hunt? I did that for my kids ( & DH) when I booked a surprise trip to Florida? I planted clues all around the house with the final clue leading them to their suitcases which I already had packed and in the car. It might be a bit harder for the older children but the 8 & 5 year olds would love it.

I love the sound of a treasure hunt!

What dates are you going? If it was later in the month, maybe something with an advent calendar with a different clue each day, building up to the final door with a reveal?

It would! You have over 2 weeks of clues to play with. Maybe door 16 could have their passports or a picture of them from their last trip?
