Dear fellow cruisers,
I was wondering if anyone has stayed in a hotel near the loading of the cruise, which one and what did you think of it.

he Radisson is where we stayed before and will again. It is close by, offers free parking while we are on the cruise and free transportation to and from the ship. Very nice rooms and very nice pool area. They also offer some great rates, during "off "season.

None of the hotels are very close to the terminal, as there are other cruise ships and terminals and all are restricted areas, but there are several on down the main road. We chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express since we drove and didn't need shuttle service, plus, they offered a free breakfast and we got a rate of $81/night. It was nice and clean and had a pool/hot tub. It was across the street from the Perkins restaurant and 2 blocks or so from the beach.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, also, and were very pleased. We had a rental car from Avis which we dropped off in the morning (at the Radisson), hopped the shuttle to the terminal and were on in a breeze. Very easy and seemed less crowded than the Radisson.
