HELP w/ Epcot please

This years Sept trip was supposed to be Cocoa Beach and Universal, now DH just sprung it on me that he wants to spend a day at Epcot...what has changed since Sept last year there and will Mission Space be open by then. Thanks so much!

Do not know if anything has changed but MS has been in preview for several weeks now. Quite a few reports here on the board. It is scheduled for an 'official' soft opening on August 15th (subject, as always, to change). This may help some.......

Besides Mission Space, which we were able to ride June 30th China has a new show. Also if you check the Disney Web site it can tell you what acts are playing. We were able to see Off Kilter in the America Plaza.

We were there in June and were disapointed to see that the Epcot Tapestry of Dreams parade is no more. They had some marching bands sprinkled throughout the day instead. I have read on the boards that a new parade is in the works to take its place--hope so. We always enjoyed that one so much.
