Help send "Flat Stanley" around the counrty/world. A second grade school project.

My niece is doing a school project of sending “Flat Stanley” around the country/world. Then getting postcards from the places “Flat Stanley” has been. My niece doesn’t know anyone outside of California so she asked me if I could help her. Of course, I had to say yes.



Are there any DISers out there that would like to help forward a letter and send a postcard to a second grader in California? I can return the favor by sending postcards from California if you’d like. Please PM me with your address.

Does your niece have to send the "flat Stanley" to people? We've done this twice for friends and relatives. They sent us a little "flat Stanley" (or "flat Sarah" in one case). We took the paper person to tourist attractions near us and took photos. We kept a log of their visit and sent everything back to the schools. It was more than just sending a post card from different places. Can you find out if there's more involved or if they really just want a bunch of postcards?

My daughter did this last year in 1st grade. It was alot of fun for her. She sent "Flat Taytem" to my Aunt in Florida. It was a cute project. If she needs a post card from NJ or someone to send Flat Stanley to, let me know. My daughter would love it!
