Help Quick question about add on points!

We have decided to buy a resale membership and were also looking at doing a small purchase direct. If we were to purchase add on points is it required to be at the same resort we already own or can we purchase a small contract at any of the resorts disney has available? Thank you for your help!

No, it's not required to be the same home resort. Just remember that the points have a home-resort advantage. If you buy 25 points at a different resort, only those 25 points can be used at 11 months at that resort.

If you want to maintain one membership number, then the new contract must be titled and have the same UY as your contract.

And there are significant advantages of having everything in one account. Be sure you understand why before you title anything different from your original contract, or settle on a different UY because it's all they offer.

Thank you everyone for your advice we will keep a single use year even if it means waiting for points we are limited to being able to vacation certain times of the year so use year has been basically decided for us.
