HELP! QUESTION ASAP!. Renting.....

:yay: Help! I am renting for the first time. I have a superduper nice family and myself working together. We are in agreement on everything. As a matter of fact I already booked the reservations and we are getting ready to make the paypal money transfer.

The questions are this...
1. Can I just tell Disney Member Service that I've rented the room and have them change the name to the renters names?

2. I know they'll want the names of everyone in each room. Is there any other specific info they will need that I should have ready from the renter in advance.

3. Any and all additional advice welcomed from you

We rented to two diff. families last year and everything worked out really well.
Answers to your questions:
1. Just give them the names of the guests that are staying. You don't have to disclose that you rented. You can make reservations in anyone's name b/c they are your points.
We requested that the confirmation be mailed to us, but our renter's name and address appeared on the reservation. Once the confirmation arrived, we faxed or mailed it off to them.
2. Have their address, phone number and the ages of any children. The will also ask about the dining plan and Magical Express. You will need to take care of these arrangements for your renters. Magical Express can be done on the member website.
3. Congratulations for a successful renting agreement!! It is nice to know that we can rent points if we aren't going to use them :)
 
I have to say thanks to you again!!! You are the one to respond to this thread and you were the one who responded to my orginal thread about a week back about how to rent to begin with. It's people like you who make learning enjoyable!!!! THANK YOU!:worship:

When I call MS do I just say I'm calling to change the name of the reservations to my guests name and address??????????

Actually, according to my POS, we are suppossed to tell member services if they are renters. ;)
