help printing magnets

I saw the post from Barb's DISigns but wanted to get some help with printing. How do you print the magnets, and onto what are you printing? Or are you having them printed at someplace else like Vista Print? And if it's mickey ears, how do you cut those suckers out?

You can print them onto photo paper, laminate and then add magnets to the back. Or, I have also purchased magnet photo sheets and printed directly on them with my printer. Then no need to add magnets. I have used both options, and prefer printing directly onto the magnet sheets.

As far as cutting the mickey ears, I just print onto whatever type of paper I am using and then carefully cut them according to shape. If using photo paper and laminating, do the laminating first, then cut. The magnet sheets are really easy to cut.

Ditto the Magnet Sheets! They're really east to use, and you don't need any special equipment, just a regular inkjet printer!

I had some made on the Mandy site and have asked and asked how to print them out and no one will answer me. I click on something and it wants to print like 200 pages.

We printed ours directly onto magnet sheets (you can get them at office stores like Staples or Office Depot). We just used a cheap HP inkjet printer that we have and they came out great and stayed on the cabin door without any issues.

I print on cardstock, cut out, laminate w/ clear contact paper, then glue magnets to the back. I just use my home printer - an inkjet.

Sure! I usually like to use image editing software to squeeze as many designs as I can onto one sheet; I like to get the most bang for my buck!

If you are sailing on the Wonder, it is very likely that the inkjet magnet papers will not stick. We were warned about this in advance, so I had all of my stuff printed at Staples. I cut out the shapes, laminated them, and then cut again...then I added the rare earth neodymium magnets to them. They did stick to the doors (and even then, they slid a bit with time). We were gifted two magnet paper ones in FEs. The home made one never stuck and the one from Vista Print fell off if we let the door slam.
