Hi everyone, hoping you can help me. I just found out yesterday that my business trip will be in Orlando at the end of this month and I have one free day where I can spend on my own time. I would like to go to WDW but now the dilemma... What do I do? With only one day to spare, should I spend it just at the Magic Kingdom or should I get a park hopper and see other parks? As a background, I'm from California and go to the Disneyland Resort all the time but I never get a chance to go to WDW. I want to make the most out of this one day so asking for recommendations on rides, shows, and places to eat. I understand I can't see it all but I'm not opposed to seeing attractions that are also in Disneyland because I like the different facades and queus. I went to WDW once years ago but that was with a bunch of people and many new attractions have now opened up. What should I do? I understand park hopping is not as easy as the Disneyland Resort so is it even worth it for me to buy that. I will be by myself so it'll be easy for me to move around and I don't mind sitting at table service if the food or the atmosphere is worth it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!! :cool1::cool1::wave2::wave2:

If you go to Disneyland all the time, I would go see Epcot if I only had a day. You can easily fill a day there, lots of food options, etc. Have fun!

Totally agree!

Spend the day at EPCOT and eat dinner at an amazing restaurant. There are so many options and some of them involve sitting with other families at your table. We enjoy this!

It's not so bad park hopping if you have your own car. Will you have a rental car to drive between the parks?

Epcot is certainly different from anything you'll find at DLR, but it also really only has 2 major rides and 1 of them is Soarin, which you have in California Adventures and it identical.

I think Animal Kingdom will give you the most unique experience, and MK/HS the least. Though MK is still work seeing. What day will you be going? I would recommend trying to see AK, Epcot and Magic Kingdom. If you are up to it I would also swing by HS and see the Indy show since it will be gone soon. The only rides there not at DLR are the Great Movie Ride and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.

I'd try a triple header. MK at RD through early afternoon, monorail over to Epcot for a ride or 2 and dinner then bus it over to HS for Fantasmic and fireworks
