Help?! Planning Session next week and Im lost!

I feel pretty lost. I sent them money and have a contract and a date....

............and thats it...........

They have sent me planning material this is full of questions
which simply generates more questions
so much so that I do not really know where to start

I have a vision of a simple ceremony in front of the castle that has my favorite people there to help celebrate in my most special way...
but little else for the way of ideas

...is it wrong that I am thinking Disney's fairy godmothers will just make it happen and have me sign on the dotted line????

Well, do you have some idea of what you want? Regarding colors, food, entertainment, etc? For example, since you're having an MK ceremony, you're going to have a brunch reception. Do you want to have it in the GF or one of the other monorail resorts to stay close by?

If you have a cinderella theme, one of the GF ballrooms might be nice.

Basically what are your priorities or ideas?

Do you have anything you think you want yet?

It's a lot easier to offer advice when you have somewhere to start from.

Purple is my color for everything so thats easy. NOT bluish shade, not pink.. ROYAL purple of course!

we have currently booked the Living Seas Salon

Brunch - mickey waffles are my must have and he likes the omelet station....

My biggest issue its that I do not know the choices so I don't know what i want.
I get the castle, so honestly everything else is cake!

I am hoping they have a list of some options somewhere.... Is that NOT going to happen?

Let me start by saying..... don't worry! My daughter just had a Disney wedding in November and it was one of the easiest planning sessions I could have asked for. Your wedding planning session will be between 4-5 hours in length. Your wedding planner and also another planner(which will help you with floral and cake, entertainment etc ) will both be in attendance at this planning session. They will cover every single detail of your wedding day. You will be amazed at how much detail is covered. They have photographs of floral arrangements, linen samples, cake testing, food testing etc. Plus you will get a walk through of the actual place you have chosen for your wedding and reception. You will also have the ability for taste testing the food for your reception. By the time you leave, your mind will be 110% at ease!!!

I would suggest being open minded but come with your "wish list" so to speak. They are wedding planners after all and they will give you a TON of ideas to think about. You will then get a estimate of what your wedding will cost approx 1-2 weeks after you meet. You will have every chance to tweek the wedding to best suit your budget and again, they will be very helpful in helping you do so. Our daughter's wedding was PERFECT!! Your wedding planners even enjoy the entire wedding day with you and are on call at a moments notice the entire wedding day. They even helped my daughter with her dress before the dance.

My suggestion to you would be ENJOY your wedding planning and remember what Disney stands for.... Perfection!! They truly know how to throw the perfect wedding!!!!!

I do have a few wish list things and things i dislike like feathers and rhinestones but overall I am open to their expert opinion bc I just don't know!
I was starting to think that NOT having concrete ideas was bad - i blame the people who keep asking me questions but then again, they've never been to a Disney wedding before either.... THanks again!

It might be worth checking into which flowers will be in season in y our colors during your wedding. In-season flowers will be the most affordable.

I got a call from the planner and she was able to answer a number of my questions but now i need to list the food we'd like to taste! I had no idea and just assumed that they'd prepare a menu for the brunch foods we should try!
