We are using FL resident 4 day tickets the second week in February. On the trip will be me, DH, DD2, DD6months, MIL, and FIL. We had planned to spend one day at each park. We spent 3 days just at Magic Kingdom in May so we don't feel a need to focus there this trip. So far we are planning Epcot on Monday, Animal Kingdom on Tuesday, Magic Kingdom on Wednesday, and DHS on Thursday. No park hoppers.

My husband really wants to do DHS, but I'm finding it hard to find things for my 2yo to do. I don't think she'll want to sit through that many shows in one day and there really aren't any rides for her age there. I read that the frozen play area is gone and I think you have to be 4 for the Honey I Shrunk playground.

I could let my DH and FIL go to DHS while I take the kids and MIL to another park. Could I make their fastpass reservations in a different park than ours? Or stay together and maybe the 2yo will love it? Other ideas?

When my daughter was 2 she loved DHS. There are more shows than rides for that age set, but she really enjoyed Beauty and the Beast, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and Disney Junior Live on Stage. She loved TSMM and Muppets 3D was another hit. Now there's also a Frozen sing-along and that was the highlight of her trip in November. I enjoyed the heck out of it too.. humor for the adults and lots of Frozen songs for the kids.

I didn't realize there was a minimum age for the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. Both of my kids loved it and my daughter was just shy of two. She needed some help getting around on it and had to have somebody keeping tabs on her but I think she preferred it to the Boneyard playground at AK.

Other stuff would be Disney Jr. show and meeting some characters like Monster Inc and Cars. She also may enjoy Toy Story Mania and meeting the Toy Story characters. My daughter liked the Indiana Jones show. It was one of her favorite shows whenever she started getting bored something would explode and get her attention again. Of course other kids like my four-year-old are scared by the show so it depends on the child. If she's really into the Disney Jr. characters you could do the character meal at Hollywood and Vine with her and your MIL while your FIL and husband do some of the thing he's interested in there.

One other option would be to do a half day or so there then head to the hotel for a nap followed by doing something at one of the resorts or something. I think there is plenty for a two-year-old for a half day.

If we did decide to split up, will I be able to pick FP for each of us in different parks on the same day? So DH and FIL in DHS and MIL and me in another park. I'm the only one with an MDE account and the only one that's into planning. Everyone else is just along for the ride!

If it were me, I would go 1 day to AK and HS (1/2 day at each to make up the 1 day). Then I would do MK 1 day, Epcot 1 day and hopper the last day and do half at MK and half Epcot.

That would be good but we won't have park hoppers.
