Help out Santa...please!

Wow - on the other side of the coin, reading these posts makes me feel like my dd4 is deprived. She doesn't have the bitty dolls, leapster, digital camera....she does have a bike ($6 at a garage sale) - Oh - one word of warning on the bike thing - make sure it is a 'good' bike with kickstand - she might not be using the training wheels for long...dd ditched her training wheels a month before she turned 4 and now we're out shopping for a bigger bike for her because it doesn't have a kickstand. Maybe that's what her big xmas gift will be.

My dd loves anything that can be 'real' - she's getting a blender/toaster combo to go into her play kitchen. And she loves dress up clothes - she'll be getting a lot.

Not a big gift but maybe you could get her some smaller ones - how about puzzles? My dd will be getting some of these.

Thanks for the ideas...if the only reason you are getting the new bike, Wal-Mart sells kickstands for $4. We got one for each of the kids bikes. They are incredibly easy to screw right on...just as an FYI

Lol - we have almost the same ages, and my ds is also getting a Nintendo ds! Dd's biggest gift (that I know about so far) is actually from my parents - she's getting my old Barbie dollhouse that my dad built, and they are refurbishing it a little bit since it has been in their attic for quite a while, lol. I just hope she won't be disappointed that it isn't pink and plastic, lol. They are having the opposite problem of trying to figure out what to get for ds to counteract the dollhouse! (My best idea so far is a big boxed Bionicle set.)

Other ideas:
Lego
games
stuff for her room, like artwork or a beanbag chair
jewelry box - either a little one for real stuff, or a big one for dress-up stuff

Oh, and my dd has a Bitty Baby, but she doesn't differentiate it from any of her other baby dolls, and none of the accessories for it are from American Girl. Oops - I think the stroller is from AG - but she has a Target crib, my sister made her a doll sling, and the play kitchen has a high chair in it. It's all good...

Thought it was worth posting, since no one else mentioned it. My kids will be four in January and we are having a Playmobil life around here. They love all things Playmobil!!

ditto the leapster with games- my dd who is 4 LOVES hers and drags it all over. She is learning math already because of it!

Oops - forgot Playmobil! My kids love it, too. We have an odd assortment, so recently the kids were decorating the fortress with plants from the garden center...
