Wow - on the other side of the coin, reading these posts makes me feel like my dd4 is deprived. She doesn't have the bitty dolls, leapster, digital camera....she does have a bike ($6 at a garage sale) - Oh - one word of warning on the bike thing - make sure it is a 'good' bike with kickstand - she might not be using the training wheels for long...dd ditched her training wheels a month before she turned 4 and now we're out shopping for a bigger bike for her because it doesn't have a kickstand. Maybe that's what her big xmas gift will be.
My dd loves anything that can be 'real' - she's getting a blender/toaster combo to go into her play kitchen. And she loves dress up clothes - she'll be getting a lot.
Not a big gift but maybe you could get her some smaller ones - how about puzzles? My dd will be getting some of these.
Thanks for the ideas...if the only reason you are getting the new bike, Wal-Mart sells kickstands for $4. We got one for each of the kids bikes. They are incredibly easy to screw right on...just as an FYI
