Help! Our first trip home!!!

We are planning our first trip "home" in Sept. Since we have never been to SSR, I was wondering if you could help me to get a good villa. In your opinion, what is a great villa (1brm) that has a great view, where should i ask for? Hubby and I are going without the kids ( aren't we horrible!) to celebrate our anniversary with another couple. I really want our first impression to be great! Any help you could offer would be great. Also, DH is an avid golfer...are their special deals for DVC members? thanks!!!!

Sorry- I won't be much help- but we are going for our first trip home in Sept, too- the 3rd- 9th! We'll also be in a 1 BR, but w/DS (3 at the time). We are planning on asking for an area close to the pool or with a view of DTD, but we really don't care. I'm sure people will chime in soon with their experiences, though. Have fun!
Oh, and I know there is a golf option for DVC members- look on the dvcmember.com site

we just received our packet yesterday...so we still do not have a pin to enter the site. how long does it take to receive it? We are wanting to go around labor day....maybe we'll see you there!

Dvc members can get a golf card for 50.00 a year. You get up to 1/2 off of golf for you and 3 other people if you golf after 10:00 am. I think that it was 89.00 for 18 in high season (winter) and 59.00 in low (summer). Call 1(407)939-1313 for info. It is in the Feb. Members Club House. Have fun.

YEAH!!!!WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!! I called and made reservations!! We're going sept.4-7 (probably stay sat.3rd at SOG) while i was on the line, they connected me to member website and they gave me a pin number to use so that we could use the website! BTW had no problem getting what i needed! Gosh, it feels good!!!!
