Help!! New to pin collecting

We are going to WDW in Sept. and I want to start my kids out with a few pins to trade. I don't know anything about this! I have seen pins for sale at Ebay but I want to make sure I am getting the "real" thing. Is there anything in particular I should look for? Also, where can I get the neck straps to display the pins? Told ya I was clueless

Any pins from e-bay that are not sold from Spain or Argentina should be fine. The ones from these places are usually Sedesma and whether or not they are tradeable is another topic. The lanyards can be bought at any of the pin stores or I have seen some auctions that will include one.

Thanks Dalton5 for posting this question. I am also going in Sept. and had the same question.
Hockey mom, so you are saying any that are not from sellers in spain? I saw some that seem to be in plastic with disney logos, but it said they are made of "soft enamel".... are those ok as well? TIA
