THis will be our second trip to WDW and are trying to decide on some fun places to eat. We are a family of 5 ~ DH, DD's 13, 10 and 10. They are not picky eaters, but the 10 year olds don't want to eat anything that's "different". THey don't like seafood much. We definitely want to return to Whispering Canyon. They loved the atmosphere there and the big skillet dinner. That was right up there alley. We also want to try Chef Mickey's and Ohana (dinner). We are looking for a good Epcot meal. We have done Coral Reef and we liked it, but now that they are on adult menu I know they won't like many of the selections. Do you think they would like Boma? We would love to check out AKL. ANy suggestions would be great! Love the Dis!

Well you are already doing some of my recommendations... we really like O'hanas and Whispering Canyon.... Some other ones we liked were Crystal Palace - great breakfast Buffet and we also really enjoyed Le Cellier and Liberty Tree Tavern... the family style servings were great!!!

LeCellier in Epcot is not too "different" (steakhouse), and Les Chefs de France serves mac & cheese and flatbread "pizza." Do they like Italian? Maybe the new restaurant in Italy? For "fun" we like the Japanese hibachi grill and Biergarten, and we're trying Akershus this trip. I know they have a salisbury steak type of meal that might appeal to kids, and there's a buffet of appetizers with lots of breads and cheeses.

My kids were not very adventurous eaters a few years ago, but after visiting Epcot a few times, they are up for trying everything! You might be surprised what yours might be willing to try when in those beautiful WS restaurants.

I think ALL places would still allow them to order from the kids menu if that's all that would please them.

You could also consider heading over to BC for Beaches & Cream!

I would defnitely suggest Boma as they have many dishes that seem to satisfy a large majority. I would also go with LeCellier at Epcot. WCC, SciFi and 50's Prime are good ideas, too.
