Hello!

My family and I are usually stay on property people. However, some recent health problems have prevented me from visiting my beloved disney for the last few years, and I am getting the disney fever, but know that 6-7 days of walking in the parks would just about do me in. :

We have friends who have suggested we could do a beach vacation so all our children (7,6,4, and 4) could see the ocean. We are playing with the idea of coming down for a lower key beach vacation, and then we could spend a day or so at MK at the end of our trip as we head back into Orlando to fly home.

I havent ventured outside of disney property since I was a child and going with my parents. I could use ANY and ALL input about good areas for the children to play in the sand, splash their little toes in the ocean, and where us adults could just relax... I would like it to ideally be within 2 1/2 hours of MCO or Sanford, if possible. (the less driving the better with 4 little ones along).

Thanks in advance for any information you can give me!

Hi Staci,
This is a frequently asked (and answered) question. If you use the "search this thread" function with keyword "beach" you will find lots of information you can use. This is but one of the threads pulled up: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2665398&highlight=beach
