August 2025 Refurbs - Haunted Mansion down on 8/9 for overlay installation - Radiator Springs Racers down 8/18

RSR is slated to go down in mid-August for a month to replace lighting. You'll be fine. Incredicoaster is a big loss as we usually start our day there. It's such a fun coaster.
Same want to cry lmao! Just kidding. It’s really a fun ride especially for my boyfriend’s first time at DL, shame.

bummer on rsr but were going again in dec so we will hope our sons first time is then

The week of 8/18 is going to really be bad in DCA. RSR and Incredicoaster down? Guardians and Soarin' will probably have min. 2 hour waits.

I bet both won't be down at the same time.
RSR goes down on the 18th. Incredicoaster is still down for refurbishment as of 8/15. Attractions mostly come off refurbishment schedule on Fridays. I would love to be wrong, but I doubt it.

The situation is bad with Guardians down 1/3 capacity for rotating maintenance and one of the two Soarin theaters is also down. Long and slow lines, even with LL.

Do you know when they’ll finally have some of guardians and or soarin fixed? How long have they been working on them lol seems like a while jeez

I don't have any insight. My trip last July Guardians was also down one elevator. Seems to be a long term issue.

Soarin will be fully operational by the end of July. Guardians is a 3 year project. The second elevator will be open at the end of summer/mid-fall and the last third elevator will be fixed by summer 2026.

Curious to see if we will see Radiator Springs Racers on the calendar tomorrow for the 18th. Going to be a real bummer with that AND incredicoaster still closed. Hoping that they might delay the closing of RSR for at least a few days as our first parkl day is the 20th.

Happy to be wrong. Good for Disney. RSR is not on the refurb schedule for 8/18. So maybe they will delay until Incredicoaster comes off.

I saw that as well and really hoping that RSR is delayed for a few more days. Our first park day is 8/20 and OBB bash on 8/21. We just need a few more days. I could care less about incredicoaster as non of my children are tall enough to ride it anyways.

I would think very slim with Incredicoaster down for that final week of July and well into mid-August. Then you have Star Tours also down for an extended refurb. Anything is possible but I think they're waiting a bit for that one.

I believe it was closed last November till mid-December so maybe that's the window for this new refurb.
Have they not updated the Disneyland website then?

I checked the last weekend of July and it says only the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is closed for DCA

Going off the calendar it says the 28th is the first day of Incredicoaster being down. I believe I heard the 27th originally. So maybe that means RSR will be going down the 19th? I guess we will find out tomorrow.

I was going to make a reservation for the Magic Key Holder Terrace during our trip but it looks like it's closed from August 10 - 16th. No availability that week, but the other days in August are open.
