HELP:Need Pep Talk Please....Family Members Think 2 Years Between Disney Trips is....

I Am Thrilled & Excited to Be Planning Our Nov WDW Vacation, I know My Family will have a blast !! They can all go off & do whatever they want, right ??

Sorry, I think that 2 years is sufficient. Many people are not blessed to go even once in their lifetime.

You could always go without them and let them go do something else or you can allow them to make some decisions and let them pick something this time and then you get your Disney vacation the next time.

We are working on our 5th trip since Sept 2003. Each trip has been different and has special memories... even when the attractions were all the same. My kids are big on character interaction and that is always different. We love the dining options and they are so special. As stated by another poster our lives are so crazy with work/school/swimming that it's nice to have our vacations to just focus on us. You only live once and your kids are only going to be kids once. My parents fortunatly love WDW as much as we do so when I called and said "Oct. 2006?" Mom didn't hesitate. They were just where with us in March 2005.

I'm with everyone else. If your family wants to go and you can afford it then make the plans and go. We've been with extended family and without and have always had a great time. If someone really didn't want to be there I'd prefer they went where they wanted to go... otherwise they may complain whenever something doesn't go just right. "long waits, expensive food, too hot... too wet..." you get the point.

Yes, travelling with extended family can be challenging at times, ya' just never know!
BUT....I have to agree about this....WE are very fortunate and lucky to be able to afford to go there again ( this will be our 2nd trip with our 2 DD's)
It Is Not Cheap....
Never know when we get there again so I will focus on making this totally Wonderful for my DH and me and 2 Princesses !!

We used to go once a year and now we're doing the "every other year" schedule and it's hard! But, we are HUGE WDW fans .... I'm guessing your family is not.

I love the magic when my DH and I go alone. Last year we had 10 people. It was hard getting everybody on board. We went alone 3 years ago. I am looking forward to it again this year!
